Dive in unashamedly with abandon.

By Jamila Jordan Moody

As I sat in the presence of the LORD pouring out my heart in song along with the praise team last Sunday January 21, 2018, I became overwhelmed by the presence of the FATHER. I was stirred because it was just good to be in the house of the LORD. I had been in and out suffering through illness since mid-November in a battle with walking pneumonia, a horrible cough, extreme fatigue, pain and random blood pressure spikes.  However, as I sat there in the presence of the FATHER that Sunday in church, I felt strength coming to me and then suddenly these words hit my spirit, “Find your abandon.”

Immediately upon hearing those words, I rose to my feet, I reached out with both my spirit and my arms lifting them up high to embrace the sound of heaven and the song of the LORD. More importantly, I reached out to embrace my FATHER. I got lost in HIS presence and immediately at that moment the straight jacket of restriction I’ve been feeling locked down and restricted by; loosened and fell off. I felt such a freedom to release in worship in a way I hadn’t felt free to in a long while. I just let go. And as I was releasing in song before the FATHER, those words hit my hearing again, “find your abandon.”

It was at that moment, I grabbed my journal knowing there was more the FATHER had to say. I stood there wrapped in the beauty of HIS presence writing vigorously this prophetic encouragement I’m about to share with you in between tears of release, smiles of joy, flourishing hand gestures receiving what HE was pouring forth because what HE was releasing to me was not just for me – it’s for you. Beloved of GOD as you read through this word I pray you are encouraged prophet, I pray you are stirred prophetic worshipper, worshipping prophet, worshipping apostle, worshipping intercessor – worshipping son and daughter. I pray you are stirred to press past the hardness of the season you’ve been enduring to tap into another realm and level of worship because the FATHER has put out a clarion call for HIS people to get there. The DEEP of HIS presence is calling to the deep of your spirit, Psalm 42:7. Will you come? HE is calling many in the body of CHRIST who have been locked in warfare, struggling through transition, healing from disappointments and the like into the REST of WORSHIP. Will you come?

The Word of the LORD

“Find your abandon. Find your abandon. Find the place of depth in your spirit – in my presence and dive in. Dive in unashamedly with abandon. Break free. Break loose. Remember who I created you to be and remember when I called you. Forget not your identity. You are my worshipper, my psalmist, my prophet, my word bearer and GLORY carrier. Forget not to carry my GLORY. Be not afraid of their faces. Forget not. Remember always. Dive in. Go deeper. Find your footing and take the plunge. Find your footing. Remember your identity. Remember I marked you for GLORY. I marked you for my GLORY. I marked you for my purpose. I filled you with my word that you might speak. I filled you with my spirit that you might walk different and be an example of my GLORY. Open up your spirit and pour. Pour forth and pour out. Every chance that you get open up and pour. Pour! Withhold nothing. Keep not thy praise. Withhold not the sound. Release your sound. Release my sound. Release my GLORY. Speak, prophesy, sing, declare, decree – open up and pour. Open up and release.

Unhinge the gates of your praise. Unhinge the gates of the prophetic authority I’ve put in your mouth. Open up and pour. Open up and release. Speak, prophesy, declare and decree. Unhinge the gates of your worship. Release and flow. Release and flow. Release and flow. Release and flow. Release and flow. Open up and flow. Open up. Unhinge. Unhinge. Unhinge. Unhinge. Unhinge. Unhinge. Unhinge. Like a door off the hinges, like a gate off the hinges – unhinge. Unhinged GLORY. Unhinge your praise. Unhinged Miracles. Unhinge your worship. Unhinged Power.”

Prophetic Encouragement

These are the words that poured vigorously into my spirit and my hearing reminding me of my identity, reminding me of the worshipper GOD raised me up to be – reminding me of my deep love for HIM and the passionate worship abiding in me. They poured into my spirit stirring me to release the prophetic worship that has been bottled up and seemingly capped. For some time, I’ve been holding back in the flow of my worship out of concern for offending those along the way of this transition the FATHER my husband, myself and our ministry in. And I believe these words HE poured out to applies also to so many in transition.

Abandon according to the Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary connotes the action of giving up control, giving up without the intent of ever claiming a right or interest in: it means to give oneself over unrestrainedly. Beloved I believe the FATHER is calling upon you and me to find our “getting lost in HIM place.” HE is calling upon us to revisit our intimacy with HIM and go deeper. Go beyond the barriers that have been placed in front of us. Push past the discomfort of the transition. Push past the faces of those offended by the intensity and freedom of our worship into a place of complete abandon.

Listen beloved it is in our abandon and our unhinged praise, worship and release that we tap into realms of GOD’S PRESENCE and GLORY that manifest healing not only for yourself personally but for those in the environment you occupy. With that said, you cannot allow the environments you encounter along the way of transition to straight jacket you, chain you and restrict you from going all the way in the deep waters HIS PRESENCE through the abandon of your worship. In this hour, you must find your abandon and unhinge the gates of your worship before the FATHER and let it flow because as you flow in worship – the prophetic rivers of the LORD begin to flow, the healing streams of HIS presence flows and HIS GLORY fills the atmosphere transforming lives, healing hearts and manifesting miracles eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and that which has not even entered into the hearts of those who love the LORD – I Corinthians 2:9.

Beloved of GOD, I hear it’s time to break free of the straight jacket of religious spirits that say label your worship as “for show or emotionalism.” It’s time to break free of the forbidden scowls of men that want to contain the flow of your spirit. It’s time to break free and get lost in the FATHER again. It’s time to reclaim your identity. It’s time to open up and release again. It’s time! And if the place you’re in (meaning the church, the relationship, the friendship, the city or what have you) is restrictive and not conducive to your identity – pray for direction and if the FATHER releases go where others of like precious faith are. But if HE commands you to stay then it’s your assignment to break up the fallow ground, it’s your assignment to make an impact where you are – therefore you cannot shut down, hold back and stay locked down in the straight jacket.

As I close I hear this challenge and prophetic word of encouragement for you. As David danced uncontrollably at the return of the Ark of the Covenant in II Samuel 6, make up in your mind to find your abandon as David did and go deeper, take the plunge, go all out and don’t worry about the spirit of Michal watching you – showing disdain for you display of LOVE before the KING. Because in this hour, I hear even now that the spirit of the LORD is dealing with the spirit of Michal. The spirit of the LORD is dealing with the religious demon seeking to quiet you, seeking to deter you from worshipping excessively, seeking to shame you for not caring about your appearance before men. It’s not about your appearance before men. It’s about your heart before GOD. Find your abandon beloved and unhinge your worship. It’s time! Don’t hold back.
