A pivot is game changing.

For the past few weeks I have felt a stirring about the month of April. I heard the Lord say, “April will be pivotal, and a game changer.” At the beginning of the year the Lord told me the first three months, would be months of quiet time and consecration before the Lord to prepare us for the rest of the year. Coming into the year many were hit with massive warfare. It was an attempt by the enemy to get those in battle to give up. Just as many of us have sensed 2018 will be mega, the enemy has been trying discourage many by sendind mega warfare.
Warfare if we're not careful has a way of clouding our judgment, The enemy uses warfare as a smokescreen, we have to push past the smoke or wait till it clears. Many of you have felt frustrated because you feel the enemy has cut of the pathway to your next. This is a season where we must truly learn to see with the eyes of our spirit and not our natural eyes. I want to prophesy for those of you who feel stuck, or without vision, you're not stuck. You're about to pivot into somewhere new. You're about to step into a game changing moment.
April is the is the fourth month of the year. Prophetically the number four represents, creativity. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” So often we get stuck on the Lord doing something one way. We must learn to elevate our thinking and capacity. The word says we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Within the mind of Christ are endless solutions and pathways to step into what He has for you.
Just as the game of basketball requires plays and strategy, the Lord is asking you to use your pivot in this season. A pivot can be a game changer. A pivot in basketball allows you to keep the ball from the opponent, it opens the floor up to you to see the whole floor, and it allows you to switch your direction to take another pathway to the goal. This reminds me of the story of Elisha and his servant in 2 Kings 6. The city where they were surrounded and the Elisha's servant was overcome with fear. Elisha prayed for his servant and told him to look again (2 Kings 6:17). When he looked around he was able to see clearly, and see the situation through the Lord's eyes.
As we come into April be ready for the Lord to release a pivotal moment in your life. A game changer, is coming to help you change directions to help set the course of your year. I prophesy new doors and opportunities are coming, new connections and relationships, and positions are being released in this season. As Elisha told his servant, it's time to look again.
