Will the Esthers and Deborahs Please Rise Up?

Jehovah Nissi deployed both Esther and Deborah to demolish the enemy’s plans to kill, steal and destroy His people at strategic times in the nation’s history.

Esther stood in prayer and fasting that I believe unleased the heavenly host to execute God’s will in the earth. Deborah ran to the battle line with a natural army that saw enemy plots quashed. Both women displayed faith and works and saw life spring forth where the enemy planned to bring death and destruction.

Now, once again the Lord is calling women to the frontlines to combat the wicked forces working to push Jesus out of the public square, take the next generation captive to deception and otherwise stall a Third Great Awakening.

Prophecy: The Lord Is Mantling Underground Intercessors With Boldness

The Lord is calling for intercessors that will stand in the gap. I feel a strong unction for underground intercessors to arise in the cities of the nations. The Lord is putting a new mantle of boldness on intercessors who are willing to lay it all down for Him.

On a recent Mornings With the Holy Spirit prayer broadcast, the Lord showed me the intercessors who have been faithful—who have been pressing, pushing back darkness, and decreeing and declaring what He says—are receiving a new mantle of boldness. I began to speak prophetically:

The Lord is mantling you with new boldness to go into territories that you have not gone into before in the Spirit, to take on enemies you have not fought before, by the Spirit, led by the Holy Ghost. He’s putting a new boldness on you to tackle issues in society like abortion, perversion, things that have come to infiltrate the church and those things that have come and to take out babies. There is a boldness to come against those things that have come to wreck our marriages, and things that have come to pollute the Gospel. The Lord is calling for intercessors that will stand in the gap.

5 Ways to Break the Fear of Praying Publicly

I still remember the fear striking my heart every Friday night. Corporate intercession before service was mandatory for leaders in the church, and I dreaded every minute of it.

The woman of God who headed prayer was a powerhouse in the Spirit. Anointed, God-glorifying, devil-busting prayers emanated from this woman like glory emanates from Jesus. She had a certain cadence, a rhythm. It was almost as if she were singing her prayers—only she wasn’t. In any case, I know it was music to our heavenly Father’s ears.

One by one, she would hand the mic off to other prophetic intercessors who would pave the way for the Holy Spirit’s wonder-working power in the service and bind the hand of the thief who comes in to steal, kill and destroy. The authority in that room was off the charts! Heaven was coming down and devils were fleeing, in the name of Jesus.

Cindy Jacobs Issues Critical Post-Election Prayer Alert

Cindy Jacobs is encouraging intercessors across the country to pray to keep the nation stabilized through December 19th. She points to two issues that need our ongoing prayer—and I agree wholeheartedly.

First, a possible recount of the electoral college.

“You are probably aware that Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate for president, is raising money for a recount in three states, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania,” Cindy says. “Hilary Clinton, the Democratic candidate, is now joining in on the demand for a recall. Money is being raised to pay for these recalls and millions have been raised. Recounts have changed state election results, but never a federal one.”

I’m in Florida, and I still remember the hanging chads fiasco.

The second prayer matter is the electoral count proceedings. As she sees it, it is possible, though not likely, that a recount could affect the landscape of the Electoral College. However, she adds, this has been an usual election cycle. While we must pray for these two issues, she says it is critical that the eyes of the intercessors must focus, in a large way, on the following for the Electoral College.

Prophecy: God Is Calling Nehemiah Intercessors to Rise Up

Complacency, apathy, prayerlessness and all manner of sin has slowly chipped away at America's spiritual walls. Repentance and prayer make up the mortar that will help us rebuild the walls around our nation. Brick by brick, turning away from what grieves the Father's heart and fervent intercession will restore the hedge of protection around our nation.

Here's what I heard the Lord say last week:

"I am calling on intercessors to rise in the spirit of Nehemiah and rebuild the hedge of protection around America. I am calling on those who will refuse to come down from the wall, who will discern the enemy's strategies and refute them, and who will complete the work I've called them to start. I am seeking governmental intercessors to rally other prayer warriors to get in step with what I am trying to rebuild and restore what the enemy has destroyed and stolen. Rise up now and pray. Rise up now and stand in the gap. Rise up now to make up the hedge. I am looking for those who are willing so that My plans may be accomplished in this nation."

Paul’s Secret Spiritual Warfare Weapon Against Principalities and Powers

Warfare is a way of life for me. I am careful to put my armor on, stay alert to the spirit realm, and walk as closely to the Holy Spirit as I possibly can.

Still, there are seasons where the battle rages and I grow weary. There are times when I need reinforcements in the face of surging enemies that are intent on killing me, stealing what is rightfully mine and destroying my family and ministry.

Listen to Jennifer's podcast: Paul's Secret Warfare Weapon?

Although I've long understood the need for intercessors, an email from a general in the faith this week—and an expert in spiritual war—reminded me of just how important prayer partners are. After asking about the warfare against me after my book, Jezebel's Puppets, his email read:

What Mike Bickle Taught Me About Enjoyable Prayer

I was in a faith crisis. I had just left a spiritually abusive church and didn't know where to go from there. I didn't know who to trust or what to believe. I wasn't sure if I could darken the door of a church ever again.

That's when a friend recommended I soak to the 24/7 livestream out of International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City. I went to sleep listening to prophetic singers and musicians declaring the Word of God over my life. I woke up to devotional music led by worshippers with a passion for Jesus. It was healing to my weary soul.

Eventually, I started listening to IHOP Director Mike Bickle's expansive online teaching library. His approach to prayer and intercession was much more intimate than the spiritual warfare-only camps I knew. His teachings on the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle challenged my faith. And his in-depth Bible studies on the Song of Solomon, Revelation and Daniel exposed me to Scripture angles I had never considered. I was inspired.

Making an Appeal to Heaven: Let the Gadites Arise!

The Gadites had faces like lions. They were mighty warriors. They were the real deal. We know that the righteous are as bold as lions. While on this prayer call, the Lord started showing me about the Gadites rising. Later he expounded on that in another article you'll find on my site. Click the healine to access this prayer call.
