You need the Holy Spirit—and you have Him. When you got saved, the Holy Spirit came to live on the inside of you. But there’s a deeper immersion for you. There’s more.
Jesus is the Baptizer and He wants to fill you with His Spirit to overflowing. And it’s not a one time experience. Ephesians 5:18 tells us to be filled with the Holy Spirit, but that Greek word for filled actually translates “be being filled.” In the Book of Acts, we saw the apostles were filled several times—and I’m quite sure all the filling were not chronicled.

Here are some Scriptures to build your faith in the promise of the Holy Spirit filling you:
Luke 11:13 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].
Romans 8:26-27 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
Jesus is the Baptizer, and He baptizes us with the Holy Spirit when we ask and believe. If you've never been filled with Spirit and you want to be—or if you want a fresh infilling—pray this prayer:
“Father, I surrender full control of my life to You. I ask you even now to fill me to overflowing with Your Spirit, just as You have promised to do if I ask according to Your will. I ask this in the name of Jesus and believe that you are pouring out your Spirit upon me right now.”
