“For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew—I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these.” (Zechariah 8:12 NKJV)

Dear Harvesters…

Many times, God uses nature to speak to us prophetically as a sign of what He intends to do. Since He is God of the universe, He is in control of nature and nature always responds to His voice. Psalm 24:1-2 (NASB), “The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.”

Included in this word, is a picture of seedlings from our maple trees. Some people call them helicopters, but I call them whirlybirds. This year it was so unusual because tremendous amounts of seedlings were produced on the trees, which of course led to eventual copious amounts of seedlings falling on everything. So much fell every day on our driveway that on a couple of occasions we used a snow shovel to remove them. They covered all the flower beds, filled up the gutters (and clogged them), plus they covered the roof. Because so many were falling, in the short time it took to bring groceries out of the car and into the house, some seedlings fell in the grocery bags! (Photo via Ray and Renaid Almgren)

Every year we have seedlings fall from our maple trees, but this year was different. We've never had this amount fall in the ten years we have lived in this house. Even the man that cuts lawns in our neighborhood said he has never seen anything like it in his life.

It's Seed Time!

What God is saying is that it is seed time and He is providing the seeds for the harvest. The seeds represent the seeds He is putting into the hearts of people, preparing them to receive Christ. They are the seeds for the end time move of God. I believe the seeds also represent the finances He is providing to prepare and manage the harvest.

If you have a seed that falls on the ground, eventually you have a plant that turns into another mature tree. Just as all the seedlings that fell on the ground turned into a million plants in our flower beds and all through the grass, these seeds that God has released will produce a massive harvest of souls for His Kingdom. All of nature is crying out and expressing this with a sign of a release of the seeds in the natural. Are you ready? Remember, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. It is time to get ready and be a worker in the harvest!

“I Will…

I love words, especially when God speaks and repeats Himself. Here is a Scripture to remind the Lord about the seeds that are falling into the hearts of people. God says, “I will” in this verse. Remind God what He said He would do for the poor and needy, those who need God.

“The poor and needy are seeking water when there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the wild olive; I will set the cypress in the desert, the plane [tree] and the pine [tree] together, that men may see and know and consider and understand together that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.” (Isaiah 41:17-20 AMPC)
