Ray and Renaid Almgren are the founders of Fire for the Nations, an apostolic and prophetic teaching and equipping ministry, based in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. They were catapulted by the Holy Spirit, with assistance from Reinhard Bonnke, into international ministry in December 1998, when God gave Ray a prophetic word for Finland. They travel to the nations on a regular basis. In the fall of 2018, Ray and Renaid started weekly meetings with the vision to become an apostolic training center. The Gathering Place currently meets on Saturday nights in Monroeville.
A New Era
What I heard was that God's people are entering a New Era, or as I call it, a New Time Gate. What is an era? An era is a long and distinct period of history with a particular feature or characteristic. The Lord pointed out to me examples of one era ending and another beginning. He showed me that most of the World War II veterans have died, ending an era. Another example is NASA. It's been 50 years since men first walked on the moon, and now in this new era of space travel, they are talking about going to Mars and a space militia.
A New Time Gate
When Peter and John were going up to the temple to pray in Acts 3, they met the lame man at the Beautiful Gate. The adjective “beautiful” does not just mean pretty in appearance, in Greek it means happening at the right time, or as I call it, happening at the “right time gate.” The lame man was in this condition for 40 years and was probably at this same place when Jesus walked to the temple. But Jesus did not heal him because it was not the right time. He was healed when he met Peter and John.
This is what happened after the lame man was healed:
“However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand” (Acts 4:4 NKJV). You see, it was the right time for the miracle to happen with Peter and John because 5,000 men believed; this may not include the women!
Another Time Gate
Below is another example where it wasn't time, then it was the right time. Read the Scripture below about the wedding feast at Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle. At first, He tells His mother it wasn't His time, then it was His time. It wasn't time to reveal His glory and then it was time.
John 2:1-11 (NIV), “On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to Him, ‘They have no more wine.' ‘Woman, why do you involve Me?' Jesus replied. ‘My hour has not yet come.' His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever He tells you.'
“Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water'; so they filled them to the brim. Then He told them, ‘Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.' They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.
“Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, ‘Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.' What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which He revealed His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.”
Sight Precedes Expression
Tied into the New Era and Time Gate is the fact that we are entering a new Hebrew year beginning on the evening of September 29th. The year 5779 will end and we will move into 5780, which is significant because it will begin a new decade or a 10-year portal. Numbers are very significant in Hebrew because each Hebrew letter has a numerical value connected to it. The number 80 is the numerical value for the Hebrew letter “Pey” which means “mouth.” It is the 17th letter and follows “Ayin” which means “to see,” and carries a value of 70. I believe this emphasizes that sight precedes expression.
So, we are entering a New Era where we will see at another level and speak what we see into existence (see Romans 4:17), establishing new foundations, new order, and new developments.
What does entering into a New Era or Time Gate mean for us personally? God is about to accelerate things in the Kingdom. We are going to see the miraculous operate right before our eyes. The prayers we have prayed for years will suddenly begin to be answered in incredible ways. Many will see their destinies being fulfilled and opportunities open up effortlessly. We will be able to hear and know what God is saying and doing at a much higher level, not only for ourselves but for cities and regions. Why? Because we are at the right time gate where God is moving.
How to Enter Your Time Gate
Most importantly, to come into this New Era and Time Gate in God, we must let go of all that offended us, hurt us and hindered us in the last season to fully step into this next season in God. We will miss our destinies at this time if we don't forgive.
“Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14 NASB)
Take a moment and ask God, “Is there anyone I am to forgive? What is hindering me?” Tell God you are letting go of people and offenses because you want to fully enter into your new place at this new time.
