I was preaching about the 2 Kings 7 lepers who found food, gold and clothing in the Syrian camp in the midst of a famine at Awakening House of Prayer in Ft. Lauderdale.
As I was sharing the story, it dawned on me they were outcasts. In that moment, the spirit of prophecy came over me and I began to speak the word of the Lord:
“In this season those who are considered outcasts are going to come into My inner chambers and I am going to unusual anointing. And those who have rejected them are no longer going to be able to reject them as outcasts but they will be sitting at a table in the presence of their enemies being blessed and being honored.
“So if you are an outcast today, look to Me and look for My path because I’m going to bring you before great men and they are going to see that you were wrong; that you were after My heart all along.” You can watch the video and catch the spirit of the prophecy here.
God Is Gathering the Outcasts
Merriam-Webster defines an outcast as “one that is cast out or refused acceptance (as by society); thrown aside; discarded.” Many carry a vagabond spirit because society labeled them an outcast. They are spiritual refugees from religious churches because they were cast out of mainline denominations. They became persona non grata because they prophesied the truth.
I know I’ve read Micah 4:6-7 in the past, but I stumbled across this on a comment on the video I posted with the original prophecy. The NKJV version reads:
“In that day,” says the Lord , “I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast and those whom I have afflicted; I will make the lame a remnant, And the outcast a strong nation; So the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion From now on, even forever.”
In fact, many Scriptures speak of God gathering the outcasts. God has a heart for the outcasts. I also like Jeremiah 30:17, “For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: ‘This is Zion; No one seeks her.’”
Outcast Prophets Coming Forth
God is about to flip some things. The prophetic movement, in particular, is being shaken. God is about to bring some young prophetic voices out of caves. God is about to bring some prophetic voices that had been shunned in past seasons to the forefront and they are going to be vindicated.
People didn’t like what they had to say in the past season because they’d rather have their ears tickled, but God is going to bring them back around and redeem them in front of the whole Body of Christ.
Some outcast prophets were considered lepers. But the real spiritual lepers are going to be put away for a season so they can be healed. God wants to fix the hurt in their heart so they can prophesy with purity.
The conclusion of the matter: The remnant is rising and the outcasts are assembling. It’s a new era in the church.
