(By Hakeem Collins) The Word of the Lord came to me saying that there are many that have been running their race in Christ and have been enduring much hardship. They have been encountering much resistance that is causing them to be short of breath in the spirit while running for Him and after their prophetic destinies. It is the design of the enemy to disqualify those called to do a powerful work for the Lord. The Lord showed me a vision of a track where His people were running a lengthy marathon race to the finish line of purpose.
I saw in a vision where the weather started to change and there was a storm that beat against the pavement. There were people falling on the track and tripping over each other. I asked the Lord what is this you are revealing and the Lord stated that harsh storms has caused His people to stumble and the storm was not of Him but a sudden tempest that was sent by the adversary to slow up one's momentum, acceleration and pace.
The storms came to cause them to lose footing and make it slippery to endure. The Lord said that those who have fallen will keep back up and finish strong. For the Lord is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the First and the Last. He told me to tell His people that He is going to be your rear guard and the winds of momentum that will thrust you into purpose. The Lord said that He is going to give you supernatural speed to outrun the enemy of your time and destiny and those that are chasing you down to throw you off balance to fall. I am reminded of Elijah who was given supernatural momentum by the Spirit to outrun the chariots of Ahab.
I Kings 18:45-46 “In a little while the sky grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the LORD was on Elijah, and he girded up his loins and outran Ahab to Jezreel.”
God is saying that you’re going to outrun the storms of the enemy that is trying to disqualify from your r race towards destiny. But the Lord said that He is going to give you supernatural horsepower in the Holy Spirit to finish strong. The Lord said that He is placing His hand upon His people with the “Omega Anointing” to finish what you have started. The finisher’s anointing will be strong in this next season to endure the traps, schemes and unpredictable tempest storms that arises to shake your faith.
You have been destined to be great in your generation and leave a legacy for the next generation running behind you to pass the baton to. I break every demonic resistance and illegal stronghold of the enemy off of your life. As you make Jesus “Alpha” in your life daily, He will help you with an “Omega” grace to finish your race to destiny. He is calling you to be a history maker, record breaker and finish line winner in Him. God is coming today to encourage you that “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved you” (Rom. 8:37).
God says that this is the season to win! And finish strong! Run Your Race to Win “Therefore I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight like I am beating the air. No, I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.” (I Cor. 9:26-27). God said He will qualify the disqualified to become champions of their destiny.
