God is calling His people to arise and mature in this hour.

I believe we're in a time where the Lord is wanting to mature His Body. Hebrews 5:14 says, “But solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties are trained by practice to discern good and evil.” In order for the Body to mature, we must start craving and partaking the meat of the word. Many are not growing and maturing learning how to discern spiritual matters, because they want to stay on the milk of the word. Beloved you cannot fully develop properly just driking the milk. There is no depth without the meat of His word.
A few months ago, I had a dream where many leaders in the body were serving contaminated meat, making themselves and many in the body sick. Recently, I had a dream where I had taken a group of people to sit down and eat. In the middle of the table a baby in a carrier was placed. I was sitting at the front of the table and watched as the people begain to eat the steak served. One of them got up from the table and spit out the steak in a metal pitcher because, they didn't like the taste. The next person got up and began to gag and choke on the meat, and coughed it up and spit it out. A third person got up from the table and began to spit out the meat, but suddenly choked because they had not fully chewed the meat and the hiemlich had to be performed.
As I began to pray about the meaning of the dream, I began to hear the Lord say many are not growing in the Body because they are choking or rejecting the hard words being released in this hour. Many are rejecting the words of the apostles and prophets causing them to remain at the same level. It reminds me of when Paul had to address the Corinthian Church in 1 Corinthians 3:1-3, “Brothers, I could not talk to you as spiritual people, but as fleshly people, as infants in Christ. I fed you milk, not solid food, because you were unable to take it. Indeed, you are still not able, even now, for you are still of the flesh. While there is jealousy and rivalry among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving in an ordinary human way?” The Greek word for milk in this passage is gala meaning basic elementry teachings. The Greek word for meat in this scripture is broma meaning more solid, complete and deeper spiritual doctrines.
When we remain at the basic or milk level our canality still runs wild. Even Paul told the Corinthians because I haven't been able to feed you meat, you are still acting carnal with jealousy and rivalry. Beloved when will we grow up in the Body? It's time to put away childish ways. 1 Corinthians 13:11 Paul says, “When I was a child I talked like a child, I thought like a child, When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.” You see when you remain a child there's not much accountabilty or responsibilty to worry about. Many want to stay infants in the Body because they don't want to take responsibilty for their relationship with the Lord, they put it on others.
God is calling His people to arise and mature in this hour. It's time to put away childish ways and mindsets, and move from carnality to maturity. The times are getting darker and more intense. Those who stay on the milk and refuse to grow will be swept away. But those who partake of the meat will mature and will not be shaken. Beloved you have a choice to make. Will you remain in spiritual infancy and continue to reject the meat of the Word? Or will you choose to mature and grow in spiritual matters of the Word?
