Here come the Firebirds!

By Madeline James

Recently I was in a time of prayer, and the Lord took me up in an inner vision. I was in the throne room of heaven. The Lord’s chair was off to my left, I could see His arm resting on the chair. It was the most beautiful chair, it was red and gold and radiated with glory. I saw the river of God around the throne, it shimmered and reflected His glory. Everything in the throne room shimmered with glory.

I saw myself standing near the river of God, and fire was placed in both my hands. It did not consume my hands but hovered over them. And then a fire was set at my feet that covered most of my body. It reminded me of the prophet Jeremiah when he said, “But if I say I'll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It's like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can't do it” (Jeremiah 20:9). My attention was then turned to the River of God. I saw myself coming up out of the river riding on the back of a serephim. I heard the Lord say, “I’m releasing My firebirds.”

I believe in this hour, the Lord is releasing a new breed of prophets that will carry His fire and glory, because they have been baptized in fire. A baptism represents the old fading (religion), and the new coming forth. Fire was placed in both my hands. There is an equal portion being given out to those who are willing to be baptized and consumed by His fire.God is sending His prophets who have been commissioned from the throne room.

This vision reminds me of the encounter the prophet Isaiah had when the Lord commissioned Him in Isaiah 6:1-8.
”In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. 2 Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called out to another and said,“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.”4 And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the [c]temple was filling with smoke. 5 Then I said,“Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. 7 He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven. 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

The word seraphim in the Hebew is translated into burning one. I believe the Lord is releasing His prophets that have had the coal touch their lips. There lips (words) and hearts have been purifed by the fire of Heaven. There have been many prophets that have been sanctioned and commissioned by man and not by God. But there is a great distinguishing coming between throne room prophets and man made prophets. Many have operated in a form of godliness but have lacked the true power of God (2 Timothy 3:5). The firey ones God is releasing in this hour will set the world on fire with the word of the Lord that is bring in their hearts. “Here come My firebirds” says the Lord!
