The Holy Spirit is washing over you and baptizing you into the raging fires of Jesus.

I sense so strongly in my spirit that the coming weeks are going to be a time of marked breakthrough and encounter. I was sitting with the Father in worship recently when suddenly and unexpectedly wave upon wave of His love began to wash over me. It felt as though I was sitting in a wave break at a beach as the waves of His love relentlessly broke over me. No sooner would I come up for air from the first wave, another wave of His affection would wash over me. I burst into sobs as I allowed His love to wash me afresh. When I finally got up, it was as though I could see more clearly than ever before, like my eyes had been blurry from weariness and now they were fully clear and awake. All week I keep sensing that in these days leading up to, and the days following Easter, the Father is releasing wave upon wave of His affection over His bride. With every wave, I believe will come another and another, to wash and cleanse every lie that has been keeping His children from experiencing the fullness of His love.
FIRES OF RESURRECTION
After this encounter, I saw in my spirit a burning fire that was being released from the heart of God to follow the cleansing waves. I saw many who have withstood seemingly endless trials, those who have endured persecution and opposition and relentless pressures. I saw them resting in the wave breaks as wave upon wave washed over them, refreshing and removing all toxicity, disappointment, and weariness from the past. With each new wave, came a deeper understanding of His love and ecstatic joy began to burst forth across their faces. After a time of being washed and refreshed by the waves of His affection then came this fire. I saw fireballs coming from heaven and they penetrated the hearts of His beloved ones. I heard the Father whisper, “My love will burn in those who have been weary and I am pouring it forth in a fresh outpouring to cleanse, refresh and awaken my Bride to my consuming and passionate fire.” I believe that this is a significant time of being refreshed by His love, marked by His love and then sent forth by His love with the fires of His courage and passion.
As we approach the Hebrew month of Nisan, I see a burning blaze of God’s love being released and poured out directly from His heart. They are flames that the Holy Spirit is breathing upon that will further erupt into a fiery inferno. Nisan is a significant month prophetically, it is the month that is symbolized with the Passover Lamb, (Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and resurrection) and it has multiple meanings that all point to our redemption through the precious blood of Jesus. It means redemption, miracles, spring, buds, and blossoming. Just as a wildfire cleanses and burns away the old for new growth to rise, I see that this fire is carrying a deeper and burning revelation of His love in the coming days. It is a consuming fire that will unexpectedly capture hearts in a new way over the month of Nisan (April), burning away fears, oppression and weariness, making room for the new growth of His love to bloom and arise. It is purposefully renewing the hearts of the sons and daughters to awaken to their righteous identity in Christ.
BAPTISM OF FIRE
In my study of all this, the Holy Spirit led me to Luke 3:16, which amazingly parallels the well-known scripture of God’s love; John 3:16. In Luke 3:16 it says:
“But John (the Baptist) made it clear by telling them, “There is one coming who is mightier than I. He is supreme. In fact, I’m not worthy of even being his slave. I can only baptize you in this river, but He will baptize you into the Spirit of holiness and into his raging fire.’
Just as with baptism, the water cleanses first, then the fire is released, likewise, the Holy Spirit is washing over you and baptizing you into the raging fires of Jesus. This raging fire is the consuming experience of His love. While the earth experiences groans, the Father is releasing wave upon wave over His sons and daughters as He cleanses them from all fear and stirs them awake through the fire to the fullness of His love for them. This love will erupt in and through the sons and daughters, setting them apart, marking them for His glory. They will run with fresh courage and boldness to ignite the hearts of the lost. They will carry the burning torch of His affection as love surges through them and the courage of heaven roars out of them. They will set the earth alight with the burning love of Jesus. This is the hour for the sons and daughters to pour out His Spirit like never before.
MARKED AND EMPOWERED BY HIS FIERY LOVE
I cannot move from the fact that I believe we have not seen anything yet, that we have not even touched the tip of the iceberg of the revelation of His love for us. I believe these coming weeks are a significant time of being marked mightily for the days ahead. Position yourself to receive what He is pouring out. This is a time where you have been marked for encounter and deeper revelation of His love like you have never experienced before. Get ready for the waves and the fires of His affection pouring over you and burning through you.
“Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences – the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding – this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled overflowing with the fullness of God!” –Ephesians 3:18-19 (tpt)
