I recently attended the School of Prophetic Trainers at The Mission Church in Vacaville, California. Along with a group of about 150 prophetic voices from around the world (some as far afield as Russia, Cayman Islands and our own team from South Africa), we gathered to hear from God and receive training in prophetic activation. What an amazing time of hearing from the Father and connecting with fellow believers from across the globe.
I wanted to share some of the lessons I have learned along this amazing journey diving deeper into the prophetic call of God on my life. Some of these are simple life applications based on the Word of God that you can test for yourself. Others may challenge you to dig deeper into your relationship with God and find the answers you need in Him directly.
Words of Wisdom from a Millennial Prophetess
I’ve heard it prophesied that revival is going to begin in our youth. I went through a season a few years ago when every time I would hear this word I would weep uncontrollably, but I had no idea why. Something was stirring in my heart that my head had yet to comprehend.
Then the Lord spoke to me. He said that revival is not coming from the youth; revival is coming from one big generation—old, young, and middle-aged. He gave me a mental picture of a father with two daughters. The father said to one daughter, “You’re beautiful,” and said nothing to the second. The scene changed and repeated two more times. The Lord said to me, “Omission is powerful. When you say ‘Revival is coming to the youth,’ you’re sending a message to my older and middle-aged people.”
Then the Lord asked me, “What generation does your culture honor? In modern culture, people fight to be and look young.” He proceeded to ask, “What generation does my Bible honor?” He reminded me of Psalm 133, and that the anointing starts from the top of Aaron’s head and flows downhill.

It was the summer of 1906 and something extraordinary was taking place in a tumble-down shack in the industrial outskirts of Los Angeles. Crowds gathered day and night at the Apostolic Faith Mission to be part of the Azusa Street revival, a charismatic Christian renewal movement led by a black minister from Louisiana named William Seymour.
