Known prophetically as the “Governmental Gate” state, Georgia found herself in the spotlight in the aftermath of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Georgia is sure to be key again in 2024.
Georgia, like every state, has its own internal challenges. Human Rights Watch cites a lack of accountability for law enforcement abuses, human trafficking, gang activity and opioid abuse. In Atlanta, which is home to one of the busiest airports in the world, we see crime and the economy as top concerns.
Let’s pray:
- Enter identificational repentance for idolatry, violence, racial injustice, robbing God, sexual immorality, covenant breaking of the indigenous peoples, and bloodshed—including the history of different battleground sites on state soil, such as the Revolutionary and Civil War.
- Pray watchmen and intercessors continue to arise in Georgia.
- Pray for the families ofGeorgia, the building blocks of the state; that the love of Christ is the family foundation.
- Intercede for parents, those who are led by Godly wisdom and train up their children in the way they should go.
- Pray for the exposure and dismantling of human and drug trafficking rings; ask God for justice to be served. Pray for the salvation of all involved.
- Pray the Word of God is taught from a heart posture of purity and holiness within the church in Georgia.
- Ask God to release and dispatch his angels of protection to surround the state ofGeorgia.
- Intercede for the schools and universities, that these educational institutions in this state shift from indoctrinating students with a humanistic, Greek mindset and reintroduce Bible-centric teaching and values.
- Pray resources are provided to assist with boosting literacy rates and fund teacher shortages.
- Declare revival fire to sweep across every school and college campus inGeorgia.
- Pray for the exposure, dismantling, and uprooting of all terror cells within the state.
- Pray the fear of the Lord would rest upon the Bride of Christ; that His church would return back to their first love.
- Ask God to send laborers into the harvest fields of all mountains of society.
- Pray the harvest is receptive to how the Holy Spirit is moving this hour; that the scales would fall from the eyes of the unbelievers, repentance unto salvation.
- Stand in the gap for the 2024Georgia (state and local) elections. Pray against corruption and for integrity of the voting system.
- Make intercession to completely abolish abortion in Georgia.
- Pray for current Georgia government officials, righteous rulership, who are led by wisdom and truth.
- Pray Godly advisors surround Georgia’s state and local officials.
- Decree justice and righteousness is the foundation ofGeorgia.
- Pray Kingdom reformers with an apostolic mantle sent to the mountain of government rise up with a spirit of humility and service.
- With the current state budget surplus in Georgia, pray for continued economic prosperity, with Kingdom-focused businesses meeting the needs of communities throughout the state.
- Bind the spirit of greed and loose the spirit of generosity; bless the state ofGeorgia.
- Pray for new creative sights and sounds within the arts & entertainment mountain, releasing the glory of God that displaces darkness in Georgia.
- Pray the voice of God speaks through all sectors of the media mountain in the state ofGeorgia. Pray these voices arise with hopeful, redemptive, and truthful reporting.
- Declare transforming revival throughout Georgia.
- Declare the governmental gate ofGeorgia is open to the glory of the Lord.
