Known prophetically as the “Run with the Horses” State, Kentucky is rich in agricultural assets and coal production and boasts strategic U.S. military bases like Fort Knox and Fort Campbell. And, of course, the state hosts the legendary Kentucky Derby and is famous for bluegrass music.
But challenges are emerging, especially among the younger generation.
A new report highlights significant challenges for children, families, and the childcare sector in Kentucky. In fact, the 2023 Kids Count Data Book ranked Kentucky as 40th in the nation when it comes to “overall child well-being,” a metric that looks at factors related to the economy, education, health, and families and communities.
At the same time, we’re seeing a drop in job openings and a rise in unemployment in Kentucky—both likely attributable to rising interest rates. Beyond this are issues with opioids, protecting youth, and economic development.

Enter into identificational repentance for covetousness, idolatry, and robbing God; racism; violence and bloodshed including the history of past wars fought in the territory; breaking covenant with God.
Pray for the spirit of wisdom and understanding to rest upon the government of Kentucky as potential uses of artificial intelligence goes forth, yet also warning lawmakers about the potential risks against the government and business networks.
Intercede for the foster care system within the state of Kentucky that has been marked by a shortage of families willing or able to temporarily take in children. Pray for the eyes of these children's hearts to be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which the Lord has called them.
Pray for the current state officials in Kentucky; for righteous rulership to occupy all seats of governmental authority.
Pray for the 2024 Kentucky elections–for honesty in campaigns and a peaceful transition. Pray for the election of Kingdom officials who walk in humility and the fear of the Lord.
Decree justice and righteousness is the foundation of Kentucky.
Pray God's truth would be the only lens through which the media reports information.
Pray Kentucky lawmakers gain divine strategies to better protect minors from the evils of social media through established parameters for social media companies.
Pray for the schools and universities of Kentucky, that the Lord would pour out His Spirit on these campuses in that they would rejoice and let their hearts cheer them in the days of their youth.
Pray for restoration of the state's educational system regarding education funds to improve chronic absenteeism, illiteracy, and low testing scores (aligning with Bible-centric values.)
Pray businesses are managed and led with honesty and integrity during the continued economic development and growth in Kentucky–prosperity with Kingdom purpose.
Pray for continued exposure regarding the opioid crisis in Kentucky. Pray safeguards are put in place within the community pharmacies for restoration of those seeking freedom from addiction.
Denounce and come against every occult and perverse focused project and agenda within the arts and entertainment mountain in Kentucky.
Pray for continued upholding of the First Amendment in Kentucky regarding religious freedom in every sector of society.
Pray for the fire and wind of the Holy Spirit to burn and blow through the Church of Kentucky.
Pray for the Church to have eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart of revelation.
Pray for the scales to fall from the eyes of the harvest in the state of Kentucky. Pray their hearts and minds are receptive to the Gospel.
Intercede for the families of Kentucky. Decree every satanic mountain of violence, teen pregnancy, divorce, poverty, suicide, and death is removed and cast into the sea.
Decree every hidden generational curse is revealed and broken off the families of Kentucky. Release generational blessings over the families.
Pray for the uprooting of all terror cells within the state of Kentucky.
Decree the Lord will guard Kentucky from the evil one.
Ask God to send forth His angels to surround all borders of the state.
Pray the Lord would make it like Cane Ridge, where revival fire sweeps through the state with His people declaring His wonderful works.
Decree a warring spirit, a mantle of deliverance, and governmental anointing will arise from Kentucky.
Decree awakening and societal reformation on every seven mountain of societal influence within the state of Kentucky.
