Known prophetically as the “Restored Voice” state, Michigan is known for its automobile industry in Detroit (Motor City), music recording (Motown) lakes, fishing, and agriculture (specifically apples and cherries).
Michigan’s preeminence in manufacturing and industrial research and development makes it the ideal home for export-based industries, and its strategic location offers easy access to Asian, European, and North and South American markets.
Overall, Michigan—the 10th most populous state in the nation—exported $61.1 billion worth of goods in 2022, with international trade supporting more than 1.1 million good-paying Michigan jobs.
Michigan, though, does have its challenges. Michigan lacks population growth and is suffering from a brain drain, shrinking workforce, declining health of its people, and deteriorating infrastructure. As a result, some say Michigan is losing its competitive edge as other states surpass Michigan on measures such as the economy and education.
This week, Awakening Prayer Hubs is praying for Michigan.
Let’s pray:
Enter identificational repentance for idolatry, sexual immorality, the legalization of abortion, racial injustice, violence, and covenant breaking of the indigenous peoples.
Pray for continued exposure and dismantling of drug and sex trafficking rings that have infiltrated the mountains of societal influence within Michigan. Pray for justice to be served.
Pray for Michigan's economic systems to stabilize, including regions affected by poverty.
Decree God will make every crooked path straight and every wrong thing right.
Declare a supernatural wealth transfer to the righteous to finance God's Kingdom agenda.
Bind violence, murder, and premature death from encroaching on the schools and university campuses in Michigan. Loose life, peace, and protection.
Pray for the restoration of the state’s school system regarding education funds to improve teacher and support staff shortage, address the needs of impoverished communities and special education, improve student access to mental health services, improve educational outcomes and literacy, and address absenteeism and school safety (all-encompassing a re-introduction of biblical truth).
Pray for revival fire to sweep through every school and university campus in Michigan where they would know the truth and the truth would set them free.
Intercede for the families of Michigan. Declare every satanic mountain of violence, confusion, perversion, rebellion, rape, murder, and death is removed and cast into the sea.
Pray for the LGBTQ community and their complete freedom in Jesus. Pray the Lord would remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
Pray for the wind of the Holy Spirit to blow through the jails and prisons of Michigan with miracles, signs, and wonders following.
Pray the Church would grow in the state of Michigan despite persecution. Pray His perfect love would cast out all fear among His people.
Pray for the gospel to run swiftly through the state.
Pray to come against the anti-Christ and occult spirits that have infiltrated every mountain of societal influence in Michigan. Pray the blinders are removed from these unbelievers' eyes bringing about repentance leading to salvation.
Declare truth will no longer be distorted on the Michigan media mountain.
Pray government officials in Michigan would make decisions with Godly wisdom regarding religious liberty.
Pray for Michigan's dairy and food supply. Decree the Lord is bringing His people into a good land without scarceness and lack.
Pray for a total ban on all abortion practices within the state.
Pray for righteous rulership within all current sectors of Michigan's government who stand for Godly policy.
Pray for Michigan's 2024 elections; for the election of state and local government officials where the Word of the God does not depart from their mouth, meditating on it day and night. The strong ones who are of good courage.
Pray Godly wisdom rests on the voters and for honesty and integrity of all poll workers at the polling stations during the elections.
Decree justice and righteousness is the foundation of Michigan.
Pray for the uprooting of all terror cells within the land.
Decree His angels are encamped around the entire state of Michigan because there is a remnant who fears the Lord.
Decree transforming revival sweeps across the entire state of Michigan.
