The prayer movement is being sifted like wheat.

While God is exposing hidden sins in the lives of prayer leaders, the enemy is working to disappoint and even wound the hearts of God-fearing intercessors in the nations.

Our adversary, the devil, has decided it’s an opportune time to distract, delay, and drain the faith of prayer warriors who have been standing in the gap for decades for their cities and nations.

Despite the disappointments and attacks, we must take a stand against the wiles of the enemy. We must unite around the banner of Jesus. We must stand on our watchtower, push back the darkness, and fight the good fight of faith to see God’s Kingdom come and His will be done in the earth.

This month, Awakening Prayer Hubs is praying for the prayer movement worldwide. With recent scandals and ongoing resistance at a pivotal point in history, it’s time for us to come together, pray together, fight together, and win together.

Let’s pray:

1. Repent for sin in the prayer movement.
2. Forgive any prayer leader or intercessor who has hurt or disappointed you.
3. Pray against division and for unity in the prayer movement.
4. Pray for the healing of the fractures in the prayer movement and for the healing of hearts wounded by its leaders' sins.
5. Pray for spiritual protection for the prayer movement.
6. Plead the blood of Jesus over the prayer movement.
7. Break the enemy’s assignment to defile the prayer movement.
8. Pray for holiness to permeate the heart of every intercessor.
9. Pray for Christ’s righteousness to mark the modern-day prayer movement as it did in centuries past.
10. Pray intercessors will not grow weary standing in the gap for the many needs in the earth.
11. Pray for spiritual and natural strength for intercessors.
12. Pray intercessors would not retreat from their assignment in the face of rising opposition.
13. Pray for God to call forth more intercessors to fill the void and grow the worldwide prayer movement.
14. Pray for divine, lasting fruit in the prayer movement.
15. Call the prayer movement to come up higher.
