Elisha saw into the King of Syria’s bedroom, listened to his war plans, and warned the king of Israel about what he was about to do.
When the King of Syria found out, he was raging mad and sent horses, chariots, and a great army to arrest the prophet. Scripture says they came by night and surrounded the city.
When Elisha’s servant got up early in the morning, he saw the Syrian army surrounding the city with horses and chariots and was scared.
In 2 Kings 6:16, the prophet told his servant, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
What happened? The prophet prayed that God would open his spiritual eyes.
If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you have the ability to see in the spirit. You have two sets of eyes: natural eyes and spiritual eyes.
Jesus said in John 16:13 that the Holy Spirit will show you things to come. In Matthew 13:16, He said, “Blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear.” Earlier, in verse 11, He said, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.”
Think about it, we walk by faith and not by sight. But we can walk by faith and spiritual sight. We are no longer in spiritual blindness.

I am going to pray for you today that God opens your spiritual eyes. You also need to pray for God to open your spiritual eyes. Let’s come into agreement.
