So many people are confused about what God has called them to do. We know that God is not the author of confusion but of peace.

When I wrote my book, Walking in Your Prophetic Destiny, I unpacked how I found God’s will for my life.

It’s not rocket science, but the enemy of our soul wants to keep us anxious or apathetic. In other words, many sincere, hungry, on-fire believers don’t have the first clue what God wants them to do with their lives. They end up frustrated and, over time, can lose their fire. 

Other believers are making their way to heaven, but they are not overly concerned about fulfilling God’s will or reaching their highest calling. The cares of this world have weighed them down, and they are in survival mode. 

But make no mistake. God created you for a purpose and you were born on the earth for such a time as this. It’s absolutely no accident that you are alive in this generation. 

Let me encourage you. Finding God’s will for your life is not as hard as it seems. If you seek, you will find. If you step out and try some things, you’ll discover what you are good at and what you are passionate about. You don’t have to wait until you’ve got everything figured out to step out and explore the territory. 

When I was first born again, I licked envelopes and put stamps on them. I vacuumed the floor. I was more concerned with serving God than with how I served God. That’s the right attitude. 

I stepped out in service where I was asked. I found out in a single day that I was not called to work in children’s ministry. But I might not have been so certain if I hadn’t stepped out and tried. Don’t be afraid to experiment as you are seeking God. The enemy may be opposing you, but if God is for you then who can be against you?
