Known prophetically as the “Unique” State, Nebraska is an agricultural icon in America. In fact, many of Nebraska’s cattle ranches provide for the state’s trademark corn-fed beef.
Also known as “The Cornhusker State,” Nebraska counts corn production as a leading crop, and its “Golden Triangle” of corn, livestock and ethanol production drives its industry.
The Midwestern state is also marked by wide open plains and its role in the success of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Indeed, Nebraska has produced everything from a former US President to one of the most popular summertime soda drinks.
But, like any other state, Nebraska has its challenges. Top issues of concern are a tight labor market, insufficient population growth and technology-related skill shortages. Harsh winters and cold temperatures, as well as tornado risks, scare some away. All of this is on top of the spiritual strongholds.
This week, Awakening Prayer Hubs is praying for Nebraska.
Let’s pray:
Enter into identificational repentance for robbing God, all forms of idolatry, for the indigenous peoples breaking covenant, and the shedding of innocent blood.
Pray the Nebraska media mountain would carefully determine what pleases the Lord and take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness, but rather expose them.
Pray to come against the indoctrination that has been accompanied with anti-biblical, biased, and false information in the Nebraska educational system.
Pray needs are addressed within the education mountain regarding chronic absenteeism; teacher recruitment and retention.
Ask God to send His angels of protection to surround the private and public schools, along with all college and university campuses.
Pray for protection over the supply chains and infrastructures of the state.
Pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to equip and empower the Nebraska government officials to do His will and push back the powers of darkness.
Pray the current government officials' hearts are in the hand of the Lord, for righteous rulership at the state and local level who lead in integrity and make wise decisions.
Pray for a complete state abortion ban.
Decree justice and righteousness is the foundation of the state.
Pray for the exposure, dismantling, and uprooting of every terror cell within the state of Nebraska.
Pray for the 2024 Nebraska elections, that candidates are surrounded by Godly advisors, as they recognize where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
Pray for the restoration of Godly order within the family unit of Nebraska, that the Lord would be a shield to them as they take refuge in Him.
Pray for those battling drug addictions and suicide, that they would seek the Lord, and as He answers them, He would delivers them from all their fears.
Pray business leaders within the agricultural industry, large corporations, and small businesses of the state would trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding.
Pray leaders on the business mountain will lead with compassion, bearing spiritual fruit.
Pray to call forth cheerful givers unto the Lord, that these business leaders would recognize He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply their seed for sowing and increase the harvest of their righteousness.
Pray for the ones in this state who are held captive by freemasonry, that they would come to the full knowledge of the truth that Jesus is the light of the world, and as they follow Him, they will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
Pray for the scales to fall from the eyes of those who walk the religious pluralism path and other false ideologies within the state.
Pray for boldness to rest upon the Church of Nebraska, that they would be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks them to give the reason for the hope that they have, through the love of Christ.
Pray believers in this state would pursue peace and eagerly seek to edify one another.
Pray the children of the Most High God in Nebraska would have a revelation of their authority as kings and priests in Christ Jesus.
Pray for an increase in faithful intercessors who make up the hedge and stand in the gap on behalf of Nebraska and who see the fruit of their labor.
Pray the Church would continue to speak forth His Word, as angels hearken to the voice of the Lord to see His will come to pass in Nebraska.
Plead the blood of Jesus over the land.
Declare revival and societal reformation on every mountain of societal influence in the state of Nebraska.
