Get into the 14-Day New Year Breakthrough Challenge here.
Many have felt pressure mounting, promises lingering, and warfare intensifying. In that place of seeking, I felt impressed with a simple but urgent message for the Body of Christ: It’s not too late for breakthrough. That phrase carried the kind of hope only God can release when He wants to interrupt discouragement and remind us that He is not limited by our calendars or circumstances.
Maybe you’ve been looking at the year and thinking you missed something. Maybe the battle has been long. Maybe the enemy told you that you ran out of time. He is a liar. God is not watching the clock; He is watching your faith. Heaven is not struggling to make up for lost time. The same God who restored all Job lost in one season can shift your story before the year ends.
“I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). This is the same God who declares, “I will restore to you the years the swarming locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25). This is the same Jesus who stepped into a dead situation four days too late and resurrected Lazarus anyway. Man’s deadlines do not dictate divine outcomes.
Don’t Bow to the Lie of “Too Late”
The enemy loves to weaponize discouragement near the end of the year. He amplifies delay. He magnifies disappointment. He whispers, “If it hasn’t happened by now, it’s not coming.”
But Scripture paints a very different picture.
• Daniel received breakthrough on the 24th day of the month (Daniel 10:12–14). Not the first.
• The Israelites crossed the Red Sea at the last possible moment, with Pharaoh on their heels (Exodus 14).
• Paul and Silas saw a midnight breakthrough, not a midday one (Acts 16:25–26).
God does some of His greatest works at the end of a thing. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning.” The enemy fights you hardest near breakthrough because he sees what’s coming better than you do.
What God Is Highlighting for the Remainder of the Year
1. Return to bold asking.
James 4:2 says we have not because we ask not. Some have stopped asking because delay numbed their expectation. God is calling you back to faith-filled prayer.
2. Renounce resignation.
The spirit of resignation is subtle. It sounds like, “Maybe this isn’t God’s will.” Yet deep down, you know He spoke. Renounce passivity. Stir your faith again.
3. Expect divine acceleration.
Amos 9:13 describes supernatural speed: “The plowman shall overtake the reaper.” God can make up time in a moment. He can collapse timelines. Breakthrough is not hard for Him.
Pray This for Your 2025 Breakthrough
Pray this out loud and with authority:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I break agreement with every lie that says it is too late for my breakthrough. You are the Alpha and the Omega, and You finish what You start. I repent for every place where I let disappointment dull my expectation. I command hope to rise again. I declare that Your promises are still alive over my life.
I ask You for divine acceleration. Where there has been delay, release deliverance. Where there has been stagnation, release movement. Where there has been warfare, release victory. I stand on Your Word that says nothing is impossible with You. I decree that the remainder of 2025 will overflow with the breakthrough I have been contending for. I thank You that You are working behind the scenes, overturning obstacles, and opening doors no man can shut. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Breakthrough is not always loud. Sometimes it happens quietly behind closed doors until suddenly the whole landscape shifts. Keep praying. Keep pressing. Keep praising. Heaven is not finished with your 2025.
It’s not too late. Not even close.
You still have time for a breakthrough that only God can take credit for.
