Are Monitoring Spirits Watching You Online?

Nothing on the internet is truly private. Algorithms track your every click, advertisers follow your digital footprints, and data brokers compile profiles on your behavior without you ever knowing.

But I want to talk about something that may be more sinister than Silicon Valley surveillance. I want to talk about the demonic watchers who are monitoring your online activity. They aren’t watching because they want to sell you something. They are watching to strategically dismantle your destiny.

Yes, I said it. Monitoring spirits watch you online.

The Bible is clear that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). These demonic agents are not limited to your prayer closet or your church pew. They are assigned to every arena of your life — including your digital one.

Think about it. In a generation where ministry is built online, where prophetic voices are amplified through social media, and where Kingdom movements are organized through digital platforms, you better believe the enemy has deployed watchers to that territory.

Monitoring spirits are intelligence-gathering demons. Their assignment is to watch, record, and report. They study your patterns, identify your vulnerabilities, and feed that information up the demonic chain of command so higher-ranking spirits can craft targeted attacks against you.

In the natural, we call that data mining. In the spirit, I call surveillance warfare and it's operating in the digital realm right now.

Here's how it manifests. You post something personal online, such as a family photo or a prayer request, and within hours, you find yourself under unexpected attack.

Sudden strife. Accusation. Discouragement that seems to come out of nowhere. That's not coincidence. Monitoring spirits saw what you released, reported it, and triggered a counterstrike.

Watch also for the spirit of distraction that hijacks your online time. Monitoring spirits don't just watch. They redirect. They study what steals your focus and weaponize it against your assignment.

For those of you who are seers and intercessors, pay attention to what you feel when you're online. If you consistently log on and within minutes feel spiritually heavy, oppressed, or suddenly overwhelmed with anxiety, you may be picking up on demonic surveillance. Your spirit is detecting the watchers.

So what do you do?

First, consecrate your digital space just as you would your physical space. Before you open your laptop or pick up your phone, pray over it. Cover your online activity with the blood of Jesus. This sounds simple, but it is a profoundly powerful act of spiritual positioning.

Second, bind monitoring spirits from your online platforms specifically. Command them to be cut off from your accounts, your content, and your audience in Jesus' name. Declare that no weapon formed against your digital assignment shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Third, be intentional and strategic about what you post and when. Pray before you publish. Not everything needs to be shared the moment it's received.

Be aware also that there are human watchers, people operating under the influence of a monitoring spirit who spy on you. It’s more complex warfare when people yield to monitoring spirits. Learn more in my course Unmasking Human Watchers at www.schoolofthespirit.tv/courses/humanwatchers.
