The enemy thought he had you. He thought the assignment against your life would stick. He thought the witchcraft, the accusation, the spiritual pressure would break you down until you gave up and walked away. But God has another word.

I declare the fire of God is falling on your enemies right now. Of course, I'm talking about demonic harassers, not people. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood.

I declare the consuming fire of the Living God is moving against every force that has aligned itself against your destiny.

Hebrews 12:29 says it plainly: "For our God is a consuming fire." That is a declaration about the nature of God, and when the consuming fire turns His attention to your enemies, nothing they have built against you can stand.

Think about Elijah on Mount Carmel. The prophets of Baal screamed and cut themselves and cried out all day long, and nothing happened. Why? Because their god was not real. But when Elijah prayed, the fire of God fell. It consumed the sacrifice. It consumed the wood. It consumed everything. God answered by fire. 

When God answers by fire, He does not leave residue. He does not leave loopholes. He does not leave open doors for the same spirit to return and rebuild what He destroyed. When the fire of God falls on the enemies that particular demonic assignment is finished.

Now let me be clear. This is not about hating people. Again, your battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). The enemies I am talking about are the demonic forces, the spiritual assignments, the principalities that have been working overtime to stop what God has called you to do. 

I'm referring to the python spirit squeezing the breath out of your prayer life. The Jezebel spirit warring against your prophetic voice. The spirit of Leviathan twisting your relationships and stirring up strife around you. Those enemies. Those assignments.

This is your moment to lift your eyes off the battle and fix them on the Battle Commander. Stop rehearsing what the enemy has done to you. Start declaring what God is going to do. 

Open your mouth. Declare it out loud:

The fire of God is consuming every assignment against my life. Every weapon formed against me is destroyed at the root. I am not a victim. I am a warrior covered by the consuming fire of the Living God. My enemies will not prosper. My destiny will not be denied. The fire has fallen, and I am still standing.
