The enemy does not fight fair. He never has.
He does not come at you with a sword you can see. He comes at your thoughts. He whispers. He suggests. He plants seeds in the dark and waters them while you sleep. And if you let him, he will build a fortress in the one place you cannot afford to lose. Your mind.
Witchcraft is not just potions and incantations. In the Greek, the word is pharmakeia. It carries the idea of drugging, of altering how a person perceives reality. That is exactly what a witchcraft attack on your mind does. It medicates your perception. It changes how you see God, how you see yourself, and how you see the battle in front of you.
That attack ends today.
The Battlefield Is Between Your Ears
Paul was blunt about where the war is fought.
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
Look at the words. "Strongholds" is ochyroma. It means a fortified castle. A stronghold is not a passing thought. It is a structure built one brick at a time out of lies you agreed with. "Arguments" is logismos. These are reasonings that sound smart, reasonable, believable. But they exalt themselves against the knowledge of God.
The witchcraft assignment is looking for agreement with the thought.
How You Handed Him the Keys
Let me be a mother to you for a moment.
Somewhere along the way, you came into agreement. The thought came, it felt like your own, and you accepted it. Nobody really loves me. God is disappointed in me. It is never going to change. That is not your voice. That is a "logismos" dressed up like the truth.
Repentance is the key that shuts the door. When you agreed with the lie, you gave the enemy legal ground. So turn from every place you accepted his version of reality over God's Word. The moment you break agreement with the lie, you break agreement with the liar.
Your Mind Was Made for Peace
God never designed your mind to be a war room the enemy occupies.
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).
"Is stayed" comes from the Hebrew samak. It means to lean, to rest, to be sustained. A mind that leans on God cannot be shaken. And God "has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). That "sound mind" is sophronismos. A mind under command.
So whose hand is on your thoughts today?
You Arrest the Thought
You will be tempted to wait until the attacks stop before you feel victorious. That's backwards.
Paul said to bring "every thought into captivity." The word is aichmalotizo. It means to lead away as a prisoner of war. You do not negotiate with an invading thought. You arrest it.
Break the agreement. Arrest the lie. Renew the mind. Take the ground. Every witchcraft attack on your mind ends today. Rise up and enforce it.
