Something has been coming against your eyes. Not your natural eyes. Your spiritual eyes. You have felt it. The fog rolls in when you try to press into the Spirit. The clarity you once carried feels distant. You have started to wonder if you ever really saw at all.
Hear me. That is an attack. And it ends today.
The enemy is not afraid of a blind church. He is terrified of a seeing one. Why? Because what you see, you can war against. What you see, you can announce. What you see, you can shut down before it ever reaches your bloodline. A seer with open eyes is a threat to the kingdom of darkness. So he comes for your sight first.
How the Attack Comes
Blinding is his oldest strategy. Paul warned us plainly. "Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). The god of this age wants your vision obscured. He wants you squinting when you should be seeing.
But the attack is not always dramatic. Often it comes through words. Someone called you crazy. Someone said you were imagining things. Someone told you that you do not really see. Those words were not harmless. Harassing spirits attach through words spoken against you, and every accusation was an assignment against your eyes. You started to doubt. You started to dim the very gift God placed in you.
Enough.
What the Word Declares Over You
Elisha's servant woke up surrounded. The armies of Syria had encircled the city, and the young man saw only defeat. So Elisha prayed. "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha" (2 Kings 6:17).
The Hebrew word for open is paqach. It means to open the eyes fully, to unseal what was shut. Notice this. The chariots of fire were already there. The servant's circumstances did not change. His sight did. And when his sight opened, fear had to bow.
Jesus said it this way. "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light" (Matthew 6:22). Your eye is the gateway to your light. No wonder the enemy fights it so hard. A restored eye floods your whole life with revelation.
Rise and See
You are not losing your mind. You are a seer under fire, and the fire is proof of your calling. The enemy does not waste ammunition on gifts that do not threaten him.
So refuse the fog. Refuse the accusation. Refuse the lie that you never really saw. Every curse spoken against your eyes is broken. Every veil the enemy draped over your discernment is torn. Every blinding assignment is canceled by the blood of Jesus and the fire of the living God.
Your eyes are opening. Your sight is sharpening. Your vision is returning with greater clarity than you have ever known.
The blinding stops here. The seeing begins now. Rise up and see.
