Have you ever woken up feeling like someone was in the room, or worse, like someone had been inside your own body while you slept? Astral projection is not a harmless spiritual practice as the New Age movement wants you to believe. It is witchcraft, and it can be weaponized against you.

Let's Name What This Actually Is

Astral projection claims the ability to separate the "soul" or consciousness from the body and travel outside it, entering other locations or even other people's homes and dream space uninvited. Scripture doesn't affirm this as a neutral gift. It falls under the category of sorcery and divination, practices God explicitly forbids in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. When someone projects against you with harmful intent, they are attempting spiritual trespass, and you have every right to shut the door.

Check Your Own House First

Before we go on the attack, examine yourself. Have you dabbled in New Age practices, meditation techniques rooted in Eastern mysticism, or anything resembling soul travel yourself, even out of curiosity? First Corinthians 10:21 warns that you cannot partake of the Lord's table and the table of demons. Repent of any involvement, renounce it by name, and close every door you may have opened. You cannot stand strong against an attack while still holding a foothold open for the enemy.

You Have Jurisdiction Over Your Own Body and Space

Psalm 91:1 tells us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." That's covering. That's jurisdiction. Nobody has the right to project into your bedroom, your dream life, or your spiritual atmosphere without your consent, and you have the authority in Christ to enforce that boundary. Luke 10:19 stands here too. Authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Issue the Cease and Desist

You don't need to identify the person by name to shut this down. Command every astral or soul-travel attack against you to cease in the name of Jesus. Declare your bedroom, your dream life, and your body off limits to any spirit or person operating in witchcraft. Revelation 12:11 reminds us we overcome "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony." Your spoken word, backed by the blood, carries legal force in the spirit realm.

Seal the Atmosphere Before You Sleep

Don't just deal with this reactively. Cover your sleeping space intentionally. Speak the blood of Jesus over your room. Ask the Holy Spirit to station warring angels at every point of access, physical and spiritual, before you close your eyes. Second Thessalonians 3:3 promises, "The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."

You were never meant to live vulnerable in your own bedroom. The trespassing stops now. Stand up, take authority, and don't give ground back.
