Discerning Evil Plots Against You

Discerning Evil Plots Against You

Get my course, Destroying Evil Altars, here.

Spiritual battles are real. The presence of evil forces crafting evil plots for wicked attacks is increasing in these last days.

Many people are afraid of the unseen realm and the demons that plan evil against us. But God tells us over and over in His word not to fear. He is the greater one and He promises to protect us from the evil one.

The Word of God declares His supreme power over all evil, and He has delegated that power to us to exercise in the earth to send the enemy fleeing. God’s Word assures us that He is our shield and buckler. Like David, we have divine protection.

Psalm 46:1 proclaims, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” This powerful verse reminds us that no matter what spiritual battles we are facing, God is always present and ready to help. He will give us strategies and tactics. He’ll layout a battle plan for us just like He did for David. God is not a distant observer but an ever-present protector, offering us refuge and strength.

In Psalm 91:11-12, it is written, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” This passage beautifully illustrates how God commands His angels to protect us, shielding us from demonic attacks and lifting us up in times of spiritual warfare. The key to that protection is walking in the fear of the Lord.

Joshua 1:9 encourages us with these words: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This verse is a powerful affirmation that God is with us, guiding and protecting us, giving us strength and courage to face any evil force.

As we reflect on these scriptures, let us lift our hearts in prayer, seeking God’s divine protection against demonic forces and placing our trust in His almighty power.

Prayer Points for Protection Against Evil Forces

  1. Seeking God’s Refuge:
    • Scripture: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
    • Prayer: Heavenly Father, I seek refuge in You. You are my strength and my ever-present help in times of spiritual trouble. Surround me with Your love and protect me from all evil forces.
  2. Angelic Protection:
    • Scripture: “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)
    • Prayer: Lord, command Your angels to guard me in all my ways. Protect me from demonic attacks and lift me up in Your mighty hands.
  3. Overcoming Fear and Discouragement:
    • Scripture: “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
    • Prayer: Father, remove all fear and discouragement from my heart. Remind me that You are always with me, giving me strength and courage to face any evil force.
  4. Trusting in God’s Protection:
    • Scripture: “No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.” (Psalm 91:10)
    • Prayer: Lord, I trust in Your promise that no harm will overtake me. Cover me with Your protection and keep me safe from all demonic influences.

A Prayer for Divine Protection

Heavenly Father, I come to You seeking Your divine protection against all harm and danger from demonic forces and evil spirits. Your word reminds us that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround me with Your heavenly angels, Lord, to guard me in all my ways (Psalm 91:11-12). Shield me from the attacks of the enemy and cover me with Your mighty hand. Grant me the assurance that no evil shall befall me, for You are with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9). I trust in Your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In times of spiritual warfare and uncertainty, let us hold steadfast to these promises. God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, guiding us and protecting us every step of the way. Trust in His almighty power and seek His divine protection always.
