We’re living in a time when darkness is pressing harder than ever. Demonic agendas are accelerating. Wickedness is growing bold. But I’ve got good news for you: no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). That’s not just a nice idea. That’s a covenant promise—and it’s time to enforce it.
Stand on the Word and Decree It
Psalm 91 is not just for memorization. It’s for mobilization. This Psalm isn’t a poem for passive comfort; it’s a sword for spiritual warfare. When you decree, “No evil shall come near my dwelling,” you are drawing a bloodline the enemy cannot cross. You are activating angelic protection. You are shutting the door to destruction.
We must stop letting fear prophesy to us. We must shut down the whispers of the enemy that say, “This is going to happen to you too.” No! I decree: No evil shall come near your dwelling. No sickness shall invade your body. No curse shall rest on your household. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
What Does “Dwelling” Really Mean?
Your dwelling isn’t just your physical home. It’s you. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. That means wherever you go, you’re covered. Your family, your church, your workplace, your car, your plane ride—everywhere you dwell is a target for divine protection. Why? Because God dwells in you.
And if He’s dwelling in you, evil has to flee. You don’t share space with demons. You don’t share territory with torment. You are marked by the Spirit of the Living God.
Guard Your Dwelling with Prayer and Discernment
But here’s the catch—you must guard what God has given you. Don’t let compromise crack the foundation. Don’t let offense invite the enemy in. Don’t let fear open the door.
Build a hedge around your home with the Word. Set the atmosphere with praise. Walk in holiness. Plead the blood of Jesus daily. Post angels at the door with your decrees. Don’t just hope evil won’t come—command it not to.
Job 22:28 says, “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you.” So decree this with boldness:
I decree no evil shall come near my dwelling.
I decree no demonic force shall cross the bloodline.
I decree every curse spoken against me is reversed.
I decree angels are standing guard over my house, my body, my family.
I decree I will sleep in peace and wake in victory.
I decree the fire of God surrounds me day and night.
I decree what the enemy meant for evil, God is turning for good.
I decree the name of Jesus is a strong tower over my life—and I run to Him and I am safe.
Let Faith Rise
This isn’t the time to shrink back. It’s the time to rise up. Get militant in your spirit. Let your faith roar louder than the fear. Let your worship drive out the worry. Let your decrees dismantle the devil’s devices.
The devil is a trespasser, but only if you let him. So shut the gates. Raise the standard. Draw the line. And remind every demon in hell: No evil shall come near my dwelling—because this house belongs to the Lord.
And if God is for you, who can be against you?
Stay watchful. Stay in the Word. And keep decreeing the truth until every lie bows.
No evil shall come near your dwelling.
I decree it.
I believe it.
I expect it.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
