God is inviting you to get on your face before Him and press into the Holy of Holies for the next 17 days unto deliverance and overcoming victory. That was the word of the Lord in my Mornings With the Holy Spirit prayer broadcast on Dec. 6.
Indeed, the Lord broke through heavy resistance to a revelation of His glory to issue a challenge to His bride. Before we move deeper into that prophetic instruction, let’s understand what the Holy of Holies is according to Scripture.
We see the Holy of Holies first mentioned in Exodus 26:33: “You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring in the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and the veil shall serve for you as a partition between the holy place and the holy of holies.”
When Jesus died on the cross, God supernaturally tore the veil in the temple from top to bottom (see Matt. 27:50-51). This signified man was no longer separated from entering the presence of God. In fact, we can have confidence to enter the holy place through the blood of Jesus (see Heb. 10:19-20).

Prophesying Overcoming Victory
Here’s the prophetic word and charge that came forth in the prayer call. You can listen to the entire prayer call here.
“Press and keep on pressing because pressing is not for the faint of heart. You cannot just press one time like you’d press a button, as if you’ve waved a magic wand, and expect your life to change… It’s not about pressing a button. It’s about pressing past your flesh. It’s about pressing past your past. It’s about pressing past all those things I am putting before you, showing you, to get rid of them. In the next 17 days, I am going to begin to show you things that I want you to press past. And if you will set your heart to press past them, you can be through and over and done and into the next before the new year begins. I am faithful to complete the good work I’ve started in you.”
Then I saw the people of God on their faces, laying prostrate before the Lord. He showed me many know there is more but can’t get to the more. They want to go deeper in prayer but can’t seem to enter that realm of prayer. They want to walk consistently in peace but can’t seem to maintain peace. They know there are hindrances, but they don’t know what is hindering them.
The Lord is charging us to get on our face for the next 17 days to see breakthrough. Later, I discovered 17 symbolizes deliverance, overcoming the enemy and victory.

Entering the Holy of Holies
Some are content to stay in the outer court. Some dare to draw closer to God, moving into the inner court. But fewer press into the holy of holies. In the holy of holies, you find yourself engulfed by the presence, power and love of God. You freely surrender your will, your pain, your past temptations, your fear—and everything that hinders love—to the Almighty One.
See, there’s no room for the flesh in the holy of holies. It’s not about enlightening your soul, either. This is the place where deep truly cries unto deep (see Psalm 42:7). This is the sacred place where your spirit communes with His Spirit at a level your mind cannot comprehend. Mere words cannot do justice to the holy of holies experience.
In the Holy of Holies, Jesus is more than a distant God you read about in the pages of your Bible. Jesus is fully alive. His glory surrounds you as He reveals His heart to you. When you enter the Holy of Holies, you move from glory to glory. You feel more than alive. You feel like you’ve entered into another dimension—and you have. When you get there, time seems to stand still and you never want to leave.
Most Christians never enter the Holy of Holies because it costs you something. It requires you to shift your appetites, to lay aside childish things, set aside carnal desires and seek Him with your whole heart (see Jer. 29:13). But the reward is worth the price. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (see Heb. 11:6). One of the rewards for those who continue asking, seeking, knocking and pressing is an invitation into the Holy of Holies.
