On my Mornings With the Holy Spirit prayer broadcast, the Lord showed me people in boats on rivers. Then I began to prophesy:
The Lord would say to you today: “Some of you have been in a boat with people who are rowing in the opposite direction. You’re trying to row forward, forward, forward, and some in your boat are not rowing at all. They are just dead weight and you’re trying to pick up the slack. You’re trying to make up for the lack of participation, the lack of unity, the lack of this, the lack of that.” But the Lord would say to you today: “You can’t make up for the lack. You’ve just got to get the slackers and the lackers out of your boat.”
“You’ve got to press with those who are pressing in the same direction. You’ve got to press with those who see the vision that you’re going after,” says the Lord.
The Lord showed me some people are actually rowing against you. You’re rowing forward and they’re rowing backward.
So, let’s review: You’ve got the dead weight, the slackers and the lackers and the resisters. Get the slackers, the lackers and the resisters out of your boat.
As long as you’ve got the slackers, the lackers and the resisters in your boat, there’s no room in your boat for those who are in true unity with you. There’s no room in your boat for those who will row in the same direction with you, toward that master plan that God has put in your heart. As long as you’ve got the slackers, the lackers, and the resisters in your boat, you’re going to keep spinning in circles.
The Lord showed me some of you are spinning in circles because you’re out of balance in your rowing. You’re just rowing with one oar. You’re just rowing with one oar and you’re going in circles.
You’ve got to row with everything you’ve got. But, you’ve got to row with both oars. You’ve got to have all the equipment you need.
It’s time to row!

So now we need words of wisdom. How do we get the slackers, lackers and resisters out of our boat? The temptation might be to get out of the boat ourselves. We can’t just toss them overboad, I expect. ?
Thanks I needed that and I had asked the Lord about this situation. I need to have a discussion with our team about this situation and I need to get my health straightened out and then we are going to see if we need to need to leave where we are at.
I know what I need to do. My dilemma is that I need certain people in my boat to row “with”. Sometimes we’re not called to row alone all the time, most especially if we have a calling on our lives that requires mentoring/ instruction etc. We need to surround ourselves with like minded people, with those who can pour into our lives, with thoughs who we can learn & grow from or even potencially partner with in the future. Not too sure if my message makes a whole lot of sense but I do believe you’ll get the jist–after all, you are prophetic ?.
