Spiritual Warfare: Deliverance From Unworthiness and Religious Spirits

There are some people on this broadcast, and you just feel like you’ve been going around in circles, and circles and circles. You’ve almost begun to question God. (“Why is it so hard? Why won’t You help me? Why are you allowing this?”).

There are people under the sound of my voice, and you don’t feel worthy. That’s why you never go forward completely and fully with what the Lord God has called you to do. Because the enemy has convinced you that you are not worthy, and every time you make a misstep, you say, “See, I wasn’t worthy. I couldn’t cut muster. I didn’t know how to go the full measure.”

I break that voice off you in Jesus’ Name! That voice of unworthiness, I bind you in Jesus’ Name. I thank You, God, that in Christ, we are worthy. In our own selves, we’re not. Our righteousness is like filthy rags, but oh God, You have made us worthy. You have made us worthy to receive blessings; you have made us worthy to receive revelation. You have made us worthy to receive everything that You want to do for us, give us, and make for us, God. Oh, I break that assignment that makes you feel unworthy, that makes you feel like a lowly worm, that makes you feel like you are just not good enough, that you just can’t do it, that there’s no way. Just because you fell last time, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fall again.

There’s somebody here, there’s many people listening to me, and you try to get your worth out of what you do. You try to get your worth and value out of your performance. You try to get your worth and recognition out of the things that you complete--the tasks, the service. That’s religion trying to trap you...to enslave you. That’s religion trying to enslave you. Oh, I break the chains of religion today, in Jesus’ Name. I come against that religious thinking and those religious lies that the enemy has told you. Lies that say you have to somehow earn your way into God’s favor. I break it in the Name of the Lord.

We didn’t earn our salvation, and we don’t earn His favor. We don’t earn His favor. We don’t earn our worth. We don’t earn it. Oh, Jesus paid the price to make us worthy in the sight of the Father. I thank You, Lord.

I come against that religious spirit that tries to rob from you at every turn; I come against that religious spirit that tries to tell you who you are in Christ--that tries to pervert your image of Jesus. It tries to paint Jesus as somebody He’s not. It tries to paint Jesus as a baby in a manger when you are in warfare, and you need a warrior God. It tries to paint Jesus as one who’s condemning you. It tries to paint Jesus as one who is ashamed of you. It tries to paint Jesus as one who wants to distance Himself from you when you make a mistake or sin. We are worthy because of the Blood. We are worthy because of the Blood of Jesus. I break that assignment off your life that tries to keep you stuck in a cycle where you are questioning yourself and questioning who you are. You’re questioning if you are good enough, if you can make it to the other side. Your questions--I break all those vain imaginations. I break it. I break it now.

Freedom belongs to you. You are already free in Jesus. Oh, I said, that who the Son sets free, is free indeed.  We are free.  We are free. I break that religious slavery off you in Jesus’ Name. We will not be slaves to religion. We will not be slave to Jezebel. We will not be slaves to any wicked spirit that tries to beat us down and tell us who we’re not and tell us what we can do. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

And the Lord would say to you, ‘There is a new measure of freedom that you’ve not yet attained because religion has deceived you. There is a new revelation of the Son of God that you have not received because religion has deceived you. There’s a new level of emancipation that I’m trying to bring to your life that you would see Me as I really am,” says God. “That you would see Me as I really am,” says God, “that you would see Me as I really am. That you would see Me as your healer even when you’re the one who pushed yourself too hard,” says God. “That you would see Me as your deliverer even when you’re the one who practiced the same old sin and got yourself into this bondage,” says God. “That you would see Me as your everything and run to Me every time you need. That you would run to Me and not away from Me,” says God, “because religion will cause you to run the other way. Religion will cause you to think that you’re not worthy.”
