There’s a powerful war cry tucked into the Psalms that’s more than poetic language—it’s a prophetic weapon: “Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered” (Psalm 68:1). But in this new covenant era, we need to understand something deeper: God has already risen, and He’s given you the authority to scatter the enemy. This is not just a call to cry out—it’s a call to rise up.
We’re living in a time of unprecedented spiritual conflict. Demonic agendas are running wild. Witchcraft is increasing. Jezebel is on the loose. Many are feeling the pressure in the spirit. But here’s the truth you need to embrace: You’ve been authorized to scatter every enemy that comes against you.
When You Arise, the Enemy Scatters
Yes, the Lord is a man of war (Exodus 15:3). Yes, He’s the Captain of the Lord’s hosts. But He has deputized you as a warrior in His army. When you pray with authority, when you decree the Word, when you rise up in faith and take your stand, you’re not begging God to move—you’re executing His will in the earth.
Psalm 68:2 says, “As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” But where is His presence now? Inside of you (1 Corinthians 6:19). That means when you show up in spiritual authority, the enemy melts like wax.
Scatter the Enemy Through Intercession and Decrees
The enemy’s strategy is to gather forces—to intimidate, to confuse, to overwhelm. But he is no match for a Spirit-filled, blood-washed, Word-speaking believer who knows their authority. You don’t wait for God to scatter the enemy—you scatter him by the Spirit of God in you.
Jeremiah 30:23 says, “Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury…” That whirlwind now flows through your mouth when you speak the Word of God. Your declarations disrupt demonic plans. Your intercession dismantles satanic systems. Your decrees release confusion into the enemy’s camp.
You’re not just asking for a move of God. You are a move of God.
You Set the Ambush
In 2 Chronicles 20, Jehoshaphat and Judah were surrounded. They fasted, prayed, and worshiped—but don’t miss the strategy: they released a sound that set ambushes against their enemies. And what happened? Confusion scattered the enemy forces. They turned on each other. Not one sword from Judah was lifted—and not one enemy remained standing.
But what was the catalyst? A prophetic act. A bold sound. An authoritative decree. And you have the same ability. Your sound is a weapon. Your praise is a strategy. Your decree is a sword.
Confusion is Still a Weapon
Isaiah 41:11-12 says, “Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.” That’s not wishful thinking. That’s your inheritance. That’s your authority. But if you don’t rise up and wield it, the enemy will keep advancing.
When you decree confusion into the enemy’s camp, heaven backs you. When you bind the devil, he has to flee. When you scatter demonic opposition with the Word of God in your mouth, it is as though Jesus Himself is speaking through you—because He is (Luke 10:16).
Stop Waiting—Start Warring
Too many believers are praying defensive prayers, hoping to survive another day. But God didn’t call you to survive—He called you to advance. He said you would trample on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). He said the gates of hell would not prevail against you (Matthew 16:18). He said you are the one who binds and looses on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 18:18).
Psalm 18:14 says, “He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe.” When you pray, when you speak, you release heaven’s arrows. You launch lightning bolts into enemy strongholds. You are not on the run—you are on the offensive.
This Is Your Time to Arise
God is not asking you to beg Him to do what He already finished at the Cross. He’s asking you to believe it. Speak it. Walk in it. Enforce it. You are the ambassador. You are the legislator. You are the one scattering the enemy in His name.
So rise up, warrior. Don’t cower under pressure. Don’t let the devil lie to you about your authority. Push back. Press in. Decree the Word. Scatter the enemy
And say it with boldness:
“I arise, and I scatter my enemies in Jesus’ name!”
Because when you do, the atmosphere shifts. The enemy runs. And heaven invades.
Pray with me:
