A false prophet does not always come with a wrong prediction. Sometimes he comes with a word that sounds accurate, feels weighty, but something in the spirit is off. 

If you don't pay attention and break word curses, you may soon see things start to shift. You have mental warfare. Your body is fighting something. A relationship that was fine is suddenly strained. 

All three things happened to me when a false prophet cursed me in 2017!

It took me years to connect the dots. Likewise, you may never connect it back to the word that was spoken over you, but that word opened a door, and now you are living with what walked through it. What you are carrying is a curse.

Jesus warned that "many false prophets will rise up and deceive many" (Matthew 24:11). He was describing the last days. He was describing right now. And it's only going to get worse. They aren't just deceiving but also cursing.

Words Are Containers, and Some Are Loaded

The Hebrew word often translated curse in this kind of setting is ’arar. It means to place under judgment, to strip away protection, to pronounce disfavor. A curse is not merely a spell. It is a pronouncement. It tries to assign you a condition God did not give you and invites you to come into agreement with it.

Ezekiel 13 is one of the most direct passages in Scripture on prophetic witchcraft. The Lord says, "I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds" (Ezekiel 13:20). The word for hunt is tsuwd. It's trapping language. It's what you do to game.

That is what a false prophet's word is designed to do. Trap you. Fence you in. Keep you circling the same limitation until you accept it as your ceiling.

But notice who speaks in that verse. God does not say He is against your discouragement. He says He is against the charms themselves. Heaven has already taken a position against every word illegally spoken over your life.

A Curse Without Cause Cannot Land

"Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight" (Proverbs 26:2).

Read that again. The curse flies. It looks for a place to land. But without cause, it has no landing strip. This is why the enemy works so hard to get you into agreement. Agreement is the cause. Fear is the cause. Ignorance is the cause. Even if you don't come into agreement with the curse, you may come into agreement with the symptoms of the curse. 

 So, yes, there can be a cause. 

Break the Agreement, Break the Word

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). The legal transaction is finished. What remains is your enforcement of it.

So renounce the agreement you made with what was said over you. Refuse the label. Return the verdict to sender.

You are not what a false prophet called you. You are what God called you.

Every word spoken against your destiny must fall to the ground. It has no cause. It has no landing strip. It has no future. Let it fly on past and keep walking.
