Before the enemy strikes, he watches.

He studies your patterns. He tracks your weaknesses. He learns the hours when your guard is down. He notes who you trust, what you fear, where you struggle and when you are most likely to flinch. By the time the attack comes, he has already built a profile on you that is years deep.

That is not paranoia. That is Scripture.

The Enemy Is Conducting Surveillance

In Job 1:7, God asked Satan where he had come from. Satan answered, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it." Clearly, he was creating a reconnaissance report.

The enemy is not omniscient. He cannot read your mind. He cannot see the future. But he can observe. And he is observing constantly. The Hebrew phrase for "going to and fro" is shut. It means to rove, to patrol, to range about looking for something. That is surveillance language.

1 Peter 5:8 says your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The Greek word for seeking is zeteo. It means to investigate, to inquire, to search out. He is not casually wandering. He is actively gathering intelligence.

Who is he gathering it on? You.

The Grid Around Your Life

The enemy does not run surveillance alone. He runs it through a grid. Familiar spirits assigned to your family line. Monitoring spirits assigned to your geographic region. Spirits operating through people who have access to you. Soul ties that have not been broken. Open doors that have not been shut. Every one of those is a node in his network.

How does he know exactly when to hit your finances? Surveillance. How does he know which lie to whisper at 2 AM that will land hardest? Surveillance. How does he know which relationship to disrupt at exactly the wrong moment? Surveillance.

He has been watching. And he has been taking notes.

Why You Have Not Shut It Down

Most believers do not even know the grid exists. They feel the effects of it. The eerie precision of the attacks. The way the enemy seems to always know what is going to hurt the most. The unsettling sense that something is watching. But they do not name it. They do not address it. They just keep absorbing strikes that the enemy planned weeks in advance.

You cannot dismantle what you will not name.

The Holy Spirit is your counterintelligence. Jesus said the Spirit will show you things to come (John 16:13). He will also show you things hidden. Ask Him to expose every surveillance operation running against your life. Every watcher. Every familiar spirit. Every access point the enemy has been exploiting for information.

When He shows you, do not be afraid of what you see. The exposure is the first move in the dismantling.

The enemy has been watching long enough. It is time to go dark on him.

Disconnect the nodes. Expose the watchers. Close the doors. Cover the bloodline. Bring the grid down.

You are not his subject. You are not his asset. You are not his target.

You are hidden in Christ. And from this day forward, the enemy is going to need a new file. Because the old one just got burned.
