I Command Every Disease to Flee — Healing Warfare Prayer

There is a sickness that has no right to stay in your body. There is a disease that has overstayed its welcome. There is an infirmity that has been squatting on territory that belongs to the Holy Spirit. And today, we are serving an eviction notice.

Too many believers are praying politely about their healing. They are asking God to "please, if it be Your will" remove their affliction. They are tiptoeing around disease like it deserves a seat at the table of their lives. It does not. Disease is a trespasser. And you do not negotiate with trespassers. You command them to leave.

You Have Authority Over Sickness

Jesus did not suggest that His disciples pray about healing. He gave them authority over it. Luke 9:1 tells us plainly: "Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." That word "authority" is the Greek exousia. It means delegated power. It means the right to act. It means you have been commissioned by the King of Kings to confront sickness and command it to bow.

Do you see that? He did not give you power to cope with disease. He gave you power to command it to go. There is a difference between enduring a storm and commanding it to be still. Jesus did both. But He only taught you one.

The Problem With Passive Prayer

Here is where the Body of Christ has lost ground. We have turned healing into a request instead of an enforcement. We have made it a wish instead of a war.

Think about it. When Jesus encountered the woman bound by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years in Luke 13, did He bow His head and whisper a gentle prayer? No. He laid hands on her. He spoke to her condition. And she was immediately made straight.

When He encountered the leper in Matthew 8, did He form a prayer circle and take a vote? No. He stretched out His hand, touched him, and said, "I am willing; be cleansed" (NKJV). Immediately the leprosy was cleansed.

That word "cleansed" is the Greek katharizo. It means to make clean. To purify. To remove contamination entirely. Not partially. Not eventually. Entirely.

Disease Is a Spiritual Trespasser

You need to understand something. Disease does not just attack your body. It attacks your assignment. It attacks your prayer life. It attacks your ability to fulfill the call of God on your life. Every day you spend battling symptoms is a day the enemy is trying to steal from your destiny.

That is why healing is not just a physical issue. It is a warfare issue. And warfare requires a warfare posture.

Isaiah 53:5 is a legal decree from heaven's courtroom: "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (NKJV). The Hebrew word for "healed" there is rapha. It means to mend. To cure. To restore to wholeness. The price has already been paid. The verdict has already been rendered. Healing belongs to you.

So why are you still negotiating with the sickness?

It Is Time to Take Your Stand

Stop asking the disease to leave. Start commanding it. Stop treating your body like a battleground where the enemy gets equal footing. Start treating it like a temple of the Holy Ghost that has been bought with blood and sealed with fire.

You are not powerless. You are not hopeless. You are not a victim of whatever diagnosis has been spoken over you. You are a blood-bought, Spirit-filled warrior with delegated authority from the throne room of God. And it is time to use it.

Do Not Back Down

When you rise up in your authority and command disease to flee, do not let the enemy talk you out of it afterward. Symptoms may try to shout louder than your faith. Let them shout. Your authority does not come from how you feel. It comes from what He said. Stand on the Word. Speak the Word. Refuse to negotiate with what Christ already defeated.

Romans 8:11 makes it plain: "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." The same resurrection power that rolled back the stone lives inside of you right now. That power does not coexist with disease. It displaces it.

Healing is not a hope. It is a promise. And promises from God do not expire. Command every disease to flee. Then hold your ground.

The King has spoken. And His Word does not return void.
