More and more people are telling me they feel “stuck between seasons.” I’ve been there, and I know the difference between natural transition and spiritual warfare. That’s why I’m pressing in with you for a breakthrough that doesn’t just touch the surface but shatters the limits the enemy built around your destiny.

Maybe you’ve fought all year. Maybe you’ve wondered if the promises over your life expired. Maybe the warfare you’ve battled in the night or the delays you’ve faced have made you wonder if you somehow missed God. You haven’t. What you are feeling is the tension before the turning. Scripture shows again and again that breakthrough often comes at the moment the opposition peaks. Think of David at Ziklag, Daniel in Babylon, and Paul and Silas at midnight. Pressure precedes victory.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).

This is not the year to recycle last year’s prayers. You need clarity. You need courage. You need precision. You need the kind of prayer that tears down invisible barriers and positions you for divine acceleration.

Breakthrough doesn’t happen because we wish for it. It happens because we partner with God’s Word, God’s will, and God’s power. Every major breakthrough in scripture was preceded by intentional, Spirit-led prayer.

• Hannah prayed until the barren season broke (1 Samuel 1).
• Daniel prayed until the angel broke through the resistance in the heavens (Daniel 10).
• The early church prayed until Peter walked free from prison (Acts 12).

You pray your way into breakthrough, and you decree your way into forward movement.

What’s Blocking Breakthrough?

Before you can pray effectively, you need to understand what you’re contending against.

1. Delaying Spirits
Paul spoke of being “hindered by Satan” (1 Thessalonians 2:18). Some attacks aren’t sent to destroy, but to delay until you lose heart.

2. Cycles That Haven’t Been Confronted
Israel wandered because they repeated the same patterns (Numbers 14). Patterns unchallenged become prisons.

3. Soul Clutter That Clouds Discernment
Jesus said the pure in heart see God (Matthew 5:8). When your spiritual senses are clogged, your path forward becomes unclear.

4. Witchcraft Resistance
Paul faced this in Galatia. Witchcraft is not always spells and potions. Galatians 3:1 connects witchcraft to spiritual manipulation and mind attacks that derail obedience.

5. Fear, Weariness, or Hope Deferred
“These light afflictions… are working for us a far more exceeding weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). The attack on your mind is often the enemy’s last attempt before your season shifts.

Pray This for Your 2026 Breakthrough

Use this as a blueprint. Pray it out loud. Pray it boldly. Pray it until something shifts.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I align myself with Your will for 2026. I reject every plan of the enemy and embrace every plan of God.

I decree that every delaying spirit falls now according to Your Word that says You break the bars of iron and cut the chains in pieces (Psalm 107:14).

I command every stubborn cycle to break in the authority of Christ who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).

I declare clarity over my mind and heart. Let every veil lift. Let every fog scatter. Your Word says You order my steps (Psalm 37:23), so I refuse confusion and embrace divine direction.

I renounce every witchcraft assignment sent to block, hinder, confuse, or derail me. Let every incantation, every curse, every word spoken against my advancement fall powerless in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 54:17).

I receive fresh strength. You said those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Strengthen my knees. Steady my hands. Awaken my faith.
