The enemy doesn't need an invitation written in ink to launch a sustained attack against you. He just needs a door. Most of the time, we don't even realize we've cracked one open. 

Monitoring spirits are not random harassers. They are legal opportunists. They look for access points, loopholes in the spirit, unguarded gates. When they find one, they set up shop and begin their surveillance operation against your life. If you want to shut them down for good, you have to stop praying around the problem and start addressing the legal ground they're standing on.

This is where a lot of believers get stuck. They bind. They rebuke. They declare. And yet the monitoring spirits keep coming back. Why? Because binding a demon without closing the door that gave it access is like mopping the floor while the faucet is still running. You have to address the root, not just the fruit.

So what are the legal doors?

Ungodly soul ties are another major access point for human watchers. When you are tied to someone walking in darkness, whether through past relationships, unhealthy spiritual connections, or covenant ties that were never properly broken, monitoring spirits can travel those lines. Occult involvement, even in your past, creates significant legal access. This includes things people often minimize, such as horoscopes, tarot cards, ouija boards, new age practices, ancestral rituals. It doesn't matter how long ago it was or how innocent it seemed. Until it is repented of and renounced, it remains an open door. The enemy is a legalist. He will hold that ground until you take it back.

Generational iniquity is perhaps the most overlooked door of all. Monitoring spirits can operate through bloodline access that was established long before you were born. The sins of the fathers, such as occult practice, witchcraft, idolatry, Freemasonry. All these reate spiritual inheritance that must be intentionally broken. You are not guilty for what your ancestors did, but you can be affected by it until you address it through the blood of Christ.

Finally, watch your words. Complaining, fear-filled declarations, and agreement with the enemy's narrative give monitoring spirits legal ammunition. When you speak death, defeat, and doubt over your own life, you are essentially filing reports for them.

Here is how you close the doors.

Start with honest self-examination. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal every open door. Then systematically repent, renounce, and break every point of access. Pray through your generational lines. Sever ungodly soul ties. Reject every occult open door by name. Declare the blood of Jesus over every threshold.

Then do what Nehemiah did. Rebuild the gates. Post the Word of God over every area of your life. Establish daily disciplines of prayer, Scripture, and consecration that keep those doors sealed. A guarded life is a life the enemy struggles to penetrate.

Monitoring spirits can only maintain access where they have legal right to stand. Remove the legal ground and you remove their power. Close the doors, seal the gates, and walk in the freedom that is already yours in Christ.
