He's removing the obstacles that have hindered you in 2017.

Everyone is asking: “What is the Lord saying for 2018?” We have been hearing of wars and rumors of wars, but I am hearing something different. Amidst the voices of doom and gloom there is a voice that is telling us to stand strong and press through no matter what you have endured the past year. Jesus wants to fulfill your impossible dream. Your situation may be impossible in the natural but with God nothing is impossible.
In 2018, the Lord wants to bring us into places that we have never been before, hear what we have never heard before and see what we've never seen before. There is a realm that the Holy Spirit wants to take us into that many of us have not yet experienced. It is time to get out of our analytical mindsets and put on the mind of Christ. We are coming into a new year of the fulfillment of destinies.
Last night I had a simple but profound dream. I dreamt that I was driving alone on a highway at night and there was extremely heavy traffic. I called a friend from my mobile phone and I said: “I am just going to turn back and go home”. As soon as I said that, the traffic began to break up and there was a clear road ahead of me. I said to my friend, “if I turned back I would have lost everything that I was going for”. The dream then went to another scene where I was sitting down at a table eating with other believers.
I believe that this is a prophetic word for the body of Christ. Many of you are observing the obstacles which appear to be hindering you from moving forward in the New Year. You are wondering how you are going to receive a breakthrough. I want to remind you that the word of God says that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you and quickens your mortal body. That word “quicken” is zōopoieō. In the Lexicon:Strong's (G2227) means to quicken by spiritual power, to invigorate, restore to life and endue with new and greater power.
We are coming into a time in history when the heavens will be open for us to receive all that the Holy Spirit is pouring out. As we are advancing into the new year, forget all the hardships from last year and press in to what the Lord has for you in the new year. The battle may have been inescapable in 2017, but the victory is assured through Jesus in 2018.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
