The breaker anointing brings carries breakthrough power and a release of freedom!

By Michelle Stokley

The Lord has been speaking to me about waves for the last month. In this time, I had a dream of being on the higher floor of a condominium. This condo was on the shore line of the ocean. I looked out and saw large waves crashing onto the shore. These weren’t tsunami waves, because the water did not recede before they came in (meaning no decrease before their release- they are an addition to what’s already present). These waves were large enough to rush and flood inland and cover more ground than usual. They were breakers-  waves breaking with a loud, crashing roar! I saw five waves, one for each of the offices of the five-fold ministry.
wave:
a swell, surge, or rush, as of feeling or of a certain condition:
a widespread feeling, opinion, tendency, etc.:
a mass movement, as of troops, settlers, or migrating birds.
an outward curve, or one of a series of such curves, in a surface or line; undulation.
Idiom:  make waves, Informal to disturb the status quo; cause trouble, as by questioning or resisting the accepted rules, procedures, etc.
The new year is going to see a releasing of the breaker anointing upon those moving in each office of the five-fold ministry. This breaker anointing is going to be necessary in order to expand our reach into new territory as we experience new levels of ministry, revelation, wisdom, and understanding. Typically, those who carry this type of anointing have an ability to accurately discern the atmosphere and discern hindrances to a ministry/God’s people. They are able to release the light of the Spirit of Truth which breaks through the binding of darkness, deception, and infirmity (Isaiah 58:8). The breaker anointing brings carries breakthrough power and a release of freedom!
Micah 2:13
“The breaker goes up before them;
They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it.
So their king goes on before them,
And the Lord at their head.”
Jesus is the Breaker. He breaks through every obstacle which prevents growth, forward movement, and restoration. Strength and might flood the atmosphere in His presence. That which binds believers is broken, leading them to believe the impossible to be possible. The breaker (anointing) brings victory!
Breakthrough:
An offensive thrust that penetrates beyond a defensive line in warfare
Sudden advance in knowledge/technique
Moving through an obstruction
To disrupt and dismantle the operation and flow of an old system, bringing it to an end, and beginning something new
In 2 Samuel 5:20, we see David defeated the Philistines: “So David came to Baal-perazim and defeated them there; and he said, ‘The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters.’ Therefore he named that place Baal-perazim.” Baal-perazim means “master of the breakthrough” or “Lord of breaking through”. David understood that breakthrough requires divine intervention! The Lord went out before David to strike his enemies and ensure his victory. He cleared his way. This is important because the “Breaker” (the breaker anointing) goes before us when we are lined up for advancement to the next level! The upcoming year is bringing restoration and elevation to believers and to ministries, and before we can see that happen, we need the breaker anointing to go before us first.
These waves of the breaker anointing which are coming, also referred to as “springing forth” in scripture, will manifest results. Healings will spring forth (Isaiah 58:8). New songs and sounds will break forth (Isaiah 45:1). There will be restoration (Isaiah 52:9) and renewed joy (Nehemiah 8:10)! We will experience a new strength (Isaiah 40:31). Those believers and ministries in their wake will experience waves of breaking, of shaking, of pruning, and of the Lord birthing a new thing through them, as these five-fold ministers are released into their spheres of influence.

I am a Daughter of the King, a worship leader, a prophetic writer, an intercessor, a media coordinator, a mother, and a wife. I deeply love Jesus and want others to know Him. I have a love and a vision for social media ministry. I enjoy helping others reach their goals and realize the dreams God has placed within them. I seek to encourage those who need encouraging and seek to offer hope and direction to those who may have lost sight of hope in their lives. I also have a vision for uniting prophetic women together so that they can learn from each other, pray for one another, teach one another, glean from one another, and grow together as strong women and leaders in Christ.
