I have had a number of dreams over the last few months which suggest to me that many in the Body are about to experience promotion in the Holy Spirit. I don't know about you, but if the Lord has more for my life than what I am living already, then I want it. Whatever He wants me to do to get to that promotion, I will do it because I don't want to miss one of the gates that He has for my life.

Dreams of Vehicles and Personal Ministries

I saw in a dream a number of people who were driving vehicles. The vehicles were getting older and needed to be replaced. Two of the people actually got new cars but one person didn't bother to change. To me this is a picture of what God wants to do in your life. A car in a dream can represent a personal ministry. It can represent your business or what it is you do. Your job, your profession, etc. A small car can represent a small, personal ministry that God wants to do in your life and a larger car is a bigger endeavor.

Many times people will have dreams where they see themselves on large ships or flying in a large aircraft. This can often mean that God is going to advance your life through a bigger ministry. I understood in my dream that the person who did not replace their car lost an opportunity. He/she was being set-up for advancement, but for one reason or another he/she ended up missing the change that God had for their life.

Don't Miss Your Open Doors!

When I have a dream like this, I usually pray that God will help me to not miss my promotion. I ask Him to deal with my heart. If there are people that He wants me to forgive or areas in my own life that He wants me to repent of, then I am open to it. I want my heart to be ready so that when His doors open, I am in the place that I need to be to walk through.

I pray for you right now and ask the Lord to open doors for your life and to heal your heart and emotions so that you won't miss the opportunities that He has in store for you in this season. I don't know about you, but I don't want to appear before the Father at the end of time only to hear Him say, “I gave you a talent that you didn't use. You buried it beneath the sand.” I want to hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. I gave you 2 talents and you multiplied them by 2 more. Welcome into your reward.”

The Reward of Peace and the Presence of God

My motivation is to be filled with the peace and presence of God. I want to accomplish His will so that I remain in the place of His presence. I don't care what I have to face to remain there either. I will do everything I can to stay in my Father's arms. There is no place like His presence. I know what it is like to not serve God. I know what it is like to not have His peace in my heart. So now at this time in my life I choose to do His will to remain in peace.

The reward of peace in my heart is greater than anything else this world could offer. It is better than houses, cars, or money. It is better than traveling the nations or getting the best education. It is better than rising through the ranks of a corporation or a government agency. Just to have His peace in my heart I became like the man in the Bible who sold everything so that he would be able to obtain the pearl of great price, the Savior of his soul (Matthew 13:45-46).

High Towers and Spiritual Promotions

In the second dream, I saw that I was walking into high office in the spirit. In the dream it looked like the kind of office that you would expect a vice president of a bank to have in a major city. It was in a high floor (which is representative of Christ; He is our high tower). It was pristine, clean and very modern. When I walked through that door there was a person who was really upset that I was being given this office. He figured that office was for him, but I said to him, “No, this is my office.”

I believe that dream applies to me, but I also believe it applies to you. You may be reading this now and in your heart you sense that there is a promotion that God has for your life. You can feel it. You can taste it. He has been speaking to you and telling you that He is about to open a very effective door for you. I believe that door is about to open.

Allow Him to Course Correct Your Path

Allow Him to be the King of your life. Let Him bring you to the place that He has in store for you. Let Him trim your heart of the things that are not right. Let Him be the amazing gardener that He is. He wants you to be prepared for the season ahead. Hebrews 12:6 says, “…because the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son.” He may rebuke, but it's to get ready for the blessings He has in store.

Don't reject the Lord's correction. It really is like a course correction in an aircraft. Sometimes it only takes a little change to bring you thousands of miles into a different place. God may be speaking to you about something that is small in your life. If you let Him into that spot it will likely result in an amazing adventure.

Consider It Pure Joy

There will be those who will not like that you are going through doors that they feel are for them. The truth is, those doors could be for them. There is no lack in God. What He does for one He will do for another. You may experience some persecution and rejection as a result of moving to your new place, but let yourself be promoted anyway. Consider it pure joy when you faces trials of many kinds (James 1:2-4). You may have to leave some folks behind who are not willing to go with you. Let them go and you will meet new folks who will are prepared to walk with you in your new season.

I know you can do it. All things are possible for those who just obey the Lord. It is His power and authority that opens the way before you. I pray today that you will see how easy it really is. I pray that you will go adventure!
