His fire is an all consuming fire.

By Shamekah Shaw

There is a burning in my spirit, a burden to release a word from God.  A few days ago, the Holy Spirit dropped the word FIRE in my spirit. It was a few moments before I came across the news of the raging fires in California.  I could hear God say that this was just a manifestation of what is upon us spiritually.  There is a fire from the heavens that is about to sweep across the body of Christ and our nation.

Fire is an element that is so diverse. It can destroy, refine, give warmth, and provide energy and light. When we think about the characteristics and nature of fire, we often think about its destructive nature.  But the FIRE of God is not only an all-consuming fire that comes to burn away that which cannot withstand, but it is also the representation of the radical life-giving power of the Holy Spirit.  The fire that is about to be released is the purifying fire of God  will ultimately separate everything that is not in line with His holiness.  It will also be a radical outpouring of His Spirit that will burn in and through those who are hungry for more of Him.

They will be sent as fire starters for His glory, burning with His passion to set people free from the bondage of the enemy of our souls and to change the mindsets of the religious spirits that have tried to keep God in a box.  I declare in the name of Jesus that you will be a fire starter for God as you passionately pursue Him. He is waiting for you with open arms.  I invite you to say the following prayer with me or one that you are led to say, and may you be blessed and learn to rest in the power of God Almighty.

“Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for Your unconditional love. I love You because You first loved me. You loved me in my mess and allowed me to learn how to live in Your light.  To know that there is so much You desire to teach me and to reveal to me the purpose for which You created me. You created me for such a time as this.  God, I thank You that your fire burns away everything in me that is not like You and that You fill me with a fresh baptism of Your Spirit.  That my fire for You shall never dwindle, but instead grow in intensity and fervor.  That I will always call upon the mighty name of Jesus and praises shall forever be on my lips. Amen”

“Is not My word like fire?” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer which shatters a rock?  Jeremiah 23:29 NASB

Shamekah Shaw-I am a lover of God,  friend and follower of Jesus, and consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. I am a woman who seeks to worship God in spirit and in truth and  to be a vessel for God to use.  I desire to love others as Jesus loves us and tell them how much freedom and victory there is in a life that accepts Jesus. I want people to know the many characteristics of God and discover ones that He has yet to reveal. I want people to develop a zeal for the Great I Am- the One who created it all. I am someone who knows the redeeming power of a merciful and gracious God. I am a prophetic voice that wants to share with others what is on the heart of God and to tell others that God has so much to say to each of us personally if we quiet ourselves long enough to listen.
