We're not called to just maintain but reign in life.

By Madeline James

From the beginng we were called to reign and have dominion in the earth. Along the way we lost our dominion, but Jesus came back and restored us to our rightful place. Did you know we have been made to sit in heavenly places next to our Father? Ephesians 2:6 declares, “He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ” (TPT). We have been given access to live in a higher realm, but often times live below what we've been called to.

What is wisdom? Wisdom is supernatural intelliengence. It's having access into the mind of God, and thinking the way He thinks. Wisdom helps us to rightfully apply the revelations we discover.
Wisdom is Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom.” Wisdom has been since the beginning of time, Proverbs 8:22-23 says, “In the beginning I was there, for God possessed me even before he created the universe. From eternity past I was set in place, before the world began, I was anointed from the beginning.” Jesus is wisdom, and the gateway through which we obtain access to wisdom. If the Lord himself used wisdom to create the universe, how much more do we need wisdom to build and rule over what God has given us?

As I was seeking the Lord for 2018, I heard Him say, “Wisdom will cause you to regin in 2018.” Many people are driven and led by amibition, instead of being led by the 2wisdom of the Lord. Ambition is an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction, as power, honor, fame, or wealth, and the willngness to strive for its attainment (dictionary.com). Many in this hour have been building their ministries and “kingdoms” with ambition. Ambition is fleeting. Wisdom is eternal. As the people of God we need to build with His wisdom. Many peope desire the platform instead of the wisdom needed to maintain the platform.

The Lord wants you to prosper in life. But many times we fail to prosper because we're not seeking for His wisdom or insight. We tend to lean to much on our own knowledge. Jesus propsered  because he only did what he saw the Father doing. It's important we learn how to come into his council and recieve his instruction. In 2 Chronicles 1:7-12 is the story of the Lord appearing to Solomon, and He asked Solomon what he desired. Solomon asked the Lord for wisdom and knowledge to govern the people. Because Solomon's heart was pure the Lord not only gave him wisdom and knowledge, but wealth, possessions, and honor that no other king has had in the earth. Solomon was not just asking for wisdom, he was asking for the Kingdom. And because he saught the Kingdom (Matt 6:33).

Wisdom will crown you with favor and glory, that will cause you to reign. God doesn't want you to survive or just maintain in life. He wants you to reign in life. The definition of reign is royal authority, the dominion, influence of one resembling a monarch, one who wears the crown (merriam-webster.com). His wisdom will give you the authority to govern well what you have been entrusted, and what He has called you to build in 2018. Don't strive to be seen or self promote, allow wisdom to lift you up.  Proverbs 4:8-9 says, “Wisdom will exalt you when you exalt her truth she will lead you to honor and favor when you live by her insights. You will be adorned with beauty and grace, and wisdom's glory will wrap itself around you making you victorious in the race.” The humble know they are nothing without the Lord, and seek His wisdom. Seek after His wisdom this year. His wisdom will crown you and cause you to reign in 2018.
