We’re coming into a time of rebuilding, but we have to rebuild with an alert spirit. The building will be slower than we’d like because of the rise of warfare in the earth, but God will give us strategies and grace to build.
We will have to be diligent and patient to war and build at the same time, knowing the enemy will not prevail against what God told us to build.
We’re stepping into a Nehemiah 4 year. Let’s look at Nehemiah 4:16-18:
“So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.”
When you get warfare as you rebuild this year, don’t be discouraged. Stand strong. Although Sanballats and Tobiahs rise up against you, God is for you. If God is for you, then who can be against you? I decree you will not falter and you will not fail on your God-inspired building mission. If you don’t quit, you’ll win.
