When Jezebel and Saul Conspire Against You
When the Holy Spirit showed me word curses were coming against me, I was sort of surprised. Given the demon-inspired comments on my articles and Facebook posts—and the hate mail that lands in my inbox every day from people who don't believe in women preachers, 21st-century prophets or the authority of the Word of God—it seemed an obvious revelation.
So I asked Him, “Who's releasing these word curses?” He showed me a particular church I went to many years ago. That didn't naturally make sense to me. Why in the world would I even be on their minds, much less in their mouths, after the better part of a decade had passed?
I told the people closest to me, broke word curses, blessed the ones cursing me and moved on. I thought that was the end of it—and then it manifested. One of my colleagues received a not-so-random note from a woman attending that church. A prophet on staff wanted my friend to call her right away. Though it was tempting to have her call and find out exactly what curses were being released against me, we decided not to open that Pandora's false prophetic box.

How Much Would You Pay for 1 of Jezebel’s False Prophecies?
Jezebel calls herself a prophetess but is anything but. In fact, the spirit of Jezebel is a false prophetic spirit that works in divination and smooth sayings to seduce God's people to commit immorality and worship idols (Rev. 2:20).
Far beyond control and manipulation, the spirit of Jezebel works over time to muzzle—or kill—prophetic voices. If Jezebel's witchcrafts against your mind don't intimidate you, this principality works to pervert the prophetic voice through compromise.
Of course, the Jezebel spirit also works through false prophets—those who set out to deceive—to wring money out of your pocket with sensational prophecies that tap into the idolatry in your heart or fearful prophecies that manipulate the soul.

Revival Begins With Us—So Where Do We Start?
In 2012, I released a prophetic word that essentially declared God is waiting on us. God is not holding revival tightly in His fist, refusing to release it. I'm convinced that many of us are waiting on God to move when in reality He's waiting on us to move. My 2012 prophecy was: Revival begins with you.
At the same time, I've discovered we cannot set ourselves on fire. Not really. God is the ultimate fire-starter. But we can position our hearts close to His burning flame of love and catch His fire as the wind of the Holy Spirit blows it in our direction. We can't do God's part, but God won't do our part.
So if revival begins with you—and me—where does that leave us? Waiting on the Lord, but not in the way we have been. The Hebrew word for “wait” in the context of waiting on the Lord is “qavah.” It is active verb that means to wait, look for, hope, expect; to wait or look eagerly for; to lie in wait for; and to wait for, linger for. We need to wait like we expect Him to show up.

The Sneaky Spirit of Sabotage Is Seeking to Destroy You
Do you notice that when you set out to execute a God-given assignment for His glory, all hell breaks loose against you? Does it seem like when you try to press in to deeper levels of the Spirit, the enemy works overtime to distract you, derail you and otherwise deny you? Are you watching your kids fall away from the teachings of Christ? Are you working against yourself with the words of your mouth?
Lots of questions, I know, but I'm getting at something here. It could be possible that a particular spirit is behind these attacks that you aren't discerning. We all have our go-to demon hit list—those spirits we discern actively working against us. In my life and ministry, I wrestle a lot with the spirits of Jezebel, witchcraft and religion that are prominent in my region. In fact, I just wrote a new book called Jezebel's Puppets: Exposing the Agenda of False Prophets, which deals with Jezebel, Ahab, the false prophets, the eunuchs and Jezebel's children.

When You Get Rebuked for Sharing a True Prophecy
I've heard plenty of flaky dreams and visions in my day. In fact, not a week goes by when some friend—or absolute, complete stranger—doesn't send me an unsolicited message about a prophetic dream, vision or word they have for or about me. Honestly, it's somewhat bizarre that so many people are dreaming about me.
Anyway, some of these dreams are extremely accurate and especially helpful. Others are so far off the mark that you have to wonder what they ate before they went to bed (read: pizza dreams), yet the prophecy is relatively harmless. Still others are clearly inspired by a spirit other than the Holy Spirit.
I have to admit, there are times when I wanted to do more than break a word curse—I wanted to issue a rebuke. Up until now, though, I've held my pen and tongue except to teach prophetic protocols. You can read more in my book, The Making of a Prophet.

Could Thought Curses Be Oppressing Your Mind?
If you're a charismatic believer, you've probably heard of word curses. A word curse is a form of witchcraft that taps into the power of death that's in your tongue—or someone else's tongue. This spirit of Jezebel can work through people to release thought curses.
When we speak negatively over someone's life—”They will never hold down a job acting like that,” “Their marriage is bound to fail the way he treats her,” “The doctors said he's going to die in 30 days. Isn't that sad?” “I catch that flu every year!” “I'll never get a raise at this dead-end job”—we are agreeing with the enemy's plan and giving power to it with our anointed mouths. When we speak word curses over someone's life—or our own lives—we are opening the door to the devil.

God Is Pouring Out Prophetic Visions in This Season
In this hour of Christianity, God is looking for those who will stand watch, station themselves on the watchtower and keep watch to see what the Lord will say—and answer when they are reproved.
God is looking for those with a Habakkuk spirit who will not only see and hear, but record and proclaim—and keep proclaiming until the people's ears and eyes open to what the Lord is saying and doing. Once, when Habakkuk stood on the wall, He heard the Lord say this:
“Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but it speaks of an end and does not lie. If it delays, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay” (Hab. 2:2-3).

Can Jezebel’s Witchcraft Really Make You Sick?
When I was writing my first book on Jezebel, I got sick six times in the course of a year. Yes, six times! I was hardly over one cold or flu before I got another cold or flu. This was especially unusual since I hadn't had as much as a sniffle in the five years before.
Essentially, I was battling a cycle of infirmity—which I overcame. I'm battling another cycle of infirmity right now and I know others who are facing similar attacks so I thought it wise to dust off the understanding of witchcraft's connection to infirmity so are not ignorant to the devil's devices (see 2 Cor. 2:11). You can read more about Jezebel's tactics in my latest book: Jezebel's Puppets.
In this season of ministry, many times when I do a call an altar call for healing the Holy Spirit shows me to break the powers of witchcraft of people's minds before praying over the infirmity that's attacking their bodies. After this happened a few times, I decided to press in to discern the spiritual connection.
