When Spell Casters Invade Your Prayer Room
Is there really a revival of the devil's witchcraft? Does the devil really take out all the stops to interfere with the prayers of the saints? Does the devil always overplay his hand?
The answer to all of these questions, of course, is yes. Yes, he does.
Earlier this year, we started our Mornings With the Holy Spirit devotion and prayer calls at 6 a.m. One of my intercessors felt strongly there were unbelievers on the line one morning and some days there is clearly enemy resistance to our prayers. Of course, we always press through and God brings refreshing, inspiration and revelation despite what the devil has in mind.
Prophecy: Your Kairos Time Is Right Now
In 2001, I was going through the trial of my life. My husband had recently abandoned me with our 2-year-old baby. I was falsely accused and jailed for crime I didn't commit. I lost almost every penny I had defending my case unto vindication. And when I was released the dot-com bubble burst, causing Internet companies to shutter and leaving me without any income. That's not the entirety of what I was dealing with, but it gives you a glimpse of the severity of the trial. (Click here to read my full testimony.)
What I didn't tell you is that I had been born again for only about three weeks during that trial. I actually got saved in jail. It was the perfect example of Genesis 50:20: What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good. The point is, I didn't know much about the Word of God. I didn't really know how to pray. But I knew enough to get down on my knees, lean over a chair, and just cry out to God for help while my then-3-year-old daughter slept in the other room.
I fell asleep praying. I don't know how long I was asleep. I just know that a voice woke me up. That voice said: “Stay calm. Be patient. Your time is coming.”

“Bored and unhappy as the lord of hell, Lucifer Morningstar has abandoned his throne and retired to L.A., where he owns Lux, an upscale nightclub,” the show's description reads. “Charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things—wine, women and song—when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of Lux.”
The blurb goes on the explain that for the first time in roughly 10 billion years, Lucifer feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder.
What I Learned From 13 Months in My Personal Noah’s Ark
I'll always remember my time in Noah's ark. It was one of the most miserable seasons of my life. I entered Noah's ark after a 40-day spiritual flood swept away everything I had—my home, my car, my job, my dog, my savings.
I was stripped of everything I thought I needed. I had to start all over again—and God sent me to the backside of nowhere to do it. In Noah's Ark, I learned to walk with Him and Him alone. I learned to pray. I learned to worship. I learned to study the Bible. I did quite a lot of dying to self. God reprogrammed my life in Noah's ark.
Of course, I wasn't literally on Noah's ark. I'm old but not that old! I'm actually talking about Ozark, Alabama. When my daughter was 3 years old, she thought Ozark was called “Noah's Ark.” I didn't realize until 13 years later the prophetic implications of that cute misunderstanding.
The Isaiah 22:22 Prophetic Act That Breaks Down Barriers
Jesus gave us the keys to the kingdom, and whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matt. 16:19). As spiritual warriors, many of us have become experts at binding and loosing.
But there's another key that believers can use to open doors that no one can shut and shut doors that no one can open. The Word of God reveals this prophetic key in both the Old and New Testaments. It's the key of David.
Some call it the “Isaiah 22:22 key” but you could also call it the Revelation 3:7 key because the prophetic Scripture is mentioned in both books. Isaiah 22:22 reads, “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder. Then he shall open, and no one shall shut. And he shall shut, and no one shall open.”

Tell me about the experience with the man dying in the congregation while you were speaking.
Dawkins: This was a tiny little village of 80 people in North England near Preston. The people who took me to the area explained this was a very tight-knit village and an extremely conservative church. The pastor wanted more people to learn to bring people to Jesus and learn about healing. I had the feeling this was going to be huge for this church and community.

The question is, what is stopping you from raising someone from the dead? The Bible clearly states: “These signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:17-18).
You may have noticed that this verse doesn't quite cover raising the dead. That's OK, because Jesus also said, “As you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give” (Matt. 10:7-8).

Jesus spoke peace to the storm. We can do the same. That peace doesn't necessary calm the outward storm, but it can calm the storm in our souls. Paul the apostle didn't want us to be ignorant of spiritual gifts. In his first letter to the church at Corinth, he explained that there are various gifts of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Cor. 12:4). He goes on to list them:
“To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But that one and very same Spirit works all these, dividing to each one individually as He will” (1 Cor. 12:8-11).
