Is There An Orphan Within?

For many individuals it is something that we don't want to acknowledge, but there is a reality in which many people struggle, both in the Body of Christย as well as in the world, and that struggle is rooted in an Orphan Spirit.ย By โ€œorphanโ€, I am referring to a struggle...
Prophets Declaring a Glory Wave and Three-Month Purge

Prophets Declaring a Glory Wave and Three-Month Purge

We usually begin each New Year with 40 days of fasting and prayer. In early December, while seeking the Lord about our upcoming fast, the opening phrase of an old hymn suddenly sprung up from within my spirit.

“Take my life and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee…”

Over and over again, the words of that song flowed from within me, becoming my prayer of repentance and surrender.

I then heard the Lord speak the instruction given to His people, Israel, just before crossing over the Jordan River (in the harvest season) to possess their inheritance: “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” (Joshua 3:5).

This call to consecration was actually made each time God desired to release a powerful move of His Spirit among His people. I sensed this invitation was not for me alone. The Lord was asking me, as He did with Joshua, to release a corporate call to consecration as we cross over into this new year of power and great harvest.

Confirming the Call to Consecration

Just days after receiving this personal word and public assignment, a prophet came seeking to meet with us to deliver a word from the Lord. He began to share a vision the Lord had given him of a great wave of revival, glory and reformation. “The big one's coming! The big one's coming!” he said repeatedly, “And I see you riding the crest of that wave! Just like a surfer out in the ocean, watching and waiting to catch the big one, you are to burn the midnight oil! Roll up your sleeves for spiritual things! Study past revivals to prepare for the big one that's coming.”

Around the same time, I (Melissa) was contacted by my dear friend, Dehavilland Ford, who leads a ministry called 818 The Sign. Their mandate is to raise up an Isaiah 8:18 generation: “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and wonders…” She shared a dream given to one of her ministry leaders.

In this dream, I (Melissa) phone called them and began shouting with urgency, “818, meet me in the secret place!”

The Lord is announcing His wave of revival and glory, coming with signs, wonders and a harvest greater than any we've yet to see. God desires that we walk in the fullness of all He's destined for us. He's calling us to meet Him in the secret place of consecration so we'll be ready to ride His wave.

The 3-Month Purge

Around the same time, Melissa heard God's call to consecration, the Lord was speaking to me (Anthony) about a coming season of cleansing. He brought to my remembrance the events that took place one ordinary day in 2006.

Melissa and I were students at Christ for the Nations Institute, a Bible college in Dallas, TX. Students and staff had enjoyed another great morning in worship and intimate moments with Jesus. As the school director got up to make the transition and release us to our classrooms, a guy on the front row raised his hand and asked if he could say something publicly. The director agreed and called him up to the mic.

“I want to publicly repent to my sister sitting next to me,” he confessed. “I've been looking at you with eyes of lust and I don't want to do this anymore. I'm a married man but I've been looking at you wrongly. Please forgive me.” The atmosphere shifted. Travail and repentance hit the entire auditorium of 1,200 students.

That one public confession opened the door to hours of public confessions, deliverances and great freedom.School began at 8 am. and was supposed to be over by noon, but this all went on well past 5 pm. that day. It was an invitation to holiness, the doorway to revival.

“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your faceโ€”even Jacob. Selah.” (Psalm 24:3-6)

I hear Heaven declaring the first quarter of 2019 as “The 3-Month Purge.” The Lord is calling us to rend our hearts before Him. He is calling us to lay aside our pride and arrogance and let His purifying light into our dark places. Our ministry can be bringing life to many, while the minister is slowly dying spiritually. This cannot be.

There is a great release of power and an incredible harvest of souls coming in 2019, and the Lord desires that clean sons and daughters steward what He is putting forth.

This may not be “popular” talk in today's modern Church landscape, but the hour we're in requires a level of consecration, the likes of which we've not yet seen.

“‘Yet even now,' declares the Lord,
‘Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping and mourning;
And rend your heart and not your garments.'
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness
And relenting of evil.” (Joel 2:12-13)

Whether you are new in the Lord or have walked with Him for many years, there are greater depths of consecration God is inviting you into. It's time to burn the midnight oil. Roll up your sleeves. Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow, the Lord will do wonders among you.

Kathi Pelton Prophesies It's a Time to Roll Away the Stone

Kathi Pelton Prophesies It's a Time to Roll Away the Stone

On the morning of January 1st, 2019, I awoke and looked at my phone to see the time. It was 4:44 am. When I saw this, something quickened in my spirit and I knew I needed to pray and pay attention to what the Lord desired to say.

The number four Biblically represents a demarcation point in creation. On the fourth day the sun, moon, and stars were created, separating day from night and providing light for both. There are also four separate seasons in a year providing a demarcation of changes throughout each year. The fourth commandment is to rest and honor the Sabbath, which is a demarcation in time each week, where we go from active work to focused rest.

This new year (2019) is a demarcation year that signals a time and season, shift or change. It is also a year that God will reveal great light in the day and great light in the night (darkness). His light comes from the place of His perfect love, and perfect love cast out fear. Fear of darkness will be met by the light of His perfect love, and that love will cast our fears that have gripped the hearts of so many.

A Time of Rolling Away the Stone

Immediately upon waking on 1/1/2019 at 4:44, I went to my Bible and opened it. As I did, the Spirit asked me to look down and read the page that I had opened to. These are the first words that I read in 2019:

“Then the Lord said to Joshua, ‘Today I have rolled away the reproach (captivity/slavery) of Egypt from you.' So the place has been called Gilgal to this day. On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover. The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate the produce of Canaan.” (Joshua 5:9-12 emphasis mine)

In the Hebrew language, Gilgal means “circle of stones.” We see the “reproach of Egypt” (captivity) rolled away just as the stone was rolled away from the tomb of Jesus when He was resurrected. Light suddenly emerged out of darkness; both the darkness of captivity and the darkness of the tomb. Both events are “demarcation” moments that changed history by rolling away a stone.

Joshua 5:9-12 also speaks of leaving a forty-year time of wilderness living, where the Israelites survived on daily manna for their provision rather than the fruits and harvest of the Promised Land. Suddenly manna was no longer needed and the Israelites enjoyed their first meal from the crops of Canaan. This marked the end of the time of manna, stagnation, and wilderness survival; they were moving into the land of their inheritance.Though there were many enemies occupying their land, as they kept the Lord's commands and instructions, they would overthrow their enemies in order to possess and occupy their promise.

I truly believe that this is a picture of the time that we have now entered. We have crossed over and are having our hearts circumcised. The time of being idle has come to a close and the reproach of captivity is suddenly rolled away. We are getting our first tastes of the riches of Canaan.

The Old Must Pass Away

The Body of Christ is being asked to walk forward as one people; one family that follows all of the Lord's commands and instructions. In doing this we will conquer enemies, tear down strongholds, and occupy lands of long-awaited promises.

The rewards and victories ahead are remarkable and yet we must be sober to the truth that the penalty for not following His ways and instructions will be costly. We must walk as one army, as one family, without jostling for position or moving according to the flesh. This is why it is imperative to allow the circumcision of our hearts to take place as we enter this new season.

The old must pass away and we must all ascend the mountain of the Lord together to meet God face-to-face. There, we will receive wisdom and instructions of how to proceed while coming daily into intimacy and nurturing His presence.
“Then he said to Him, ‘If Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.' So the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.'” (Exodus 33:15-17)

As we meet with God and follow His instructions, our enemies will be struck with fear as they see the miracles and victories that the Lord will do through His people.

Scriptures for the Time and Season We Are Entering

I conclude with a number of Scripture verses that the Lord has highlighted to me for this time and season. I encourage you to read them, pray into them, and carry them with you in your heart and mind:

“Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'? Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.'” (Ezekiel 12:22-23)

“I am the LORD your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them…” (Ezekiel 20:19)

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)

“For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do โ€“ to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him โ€“ then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.” (Deuteronomy 11:22-25)

“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:5-9)

Take time to meditate on these verses. His Word is the lamp that lights the way of our paths ahead. Let us hold fast to His written and spoken words as we move forward to possess the land.

Bishop Bill Hamon: New beginnings in 2019 for the global Church

Bishop Bill Hamon: New beginnings in 2019 for the global Church

This year, I felt the Lord wanted me to prophesy regarding the new beginnings in 2019 for the global Church. I have some words concerning the president and some nations, etc., but I am also leaving that to some of my prophet friends โ€“ like Lance Wallnau who has the Word of the Lord for the US president.

Here are a few of the major purposes God is igniting worldwide in 2019:

โ€ข This year the light, glory and power of the Kingdom of God are arising like a great tsunami, marked by miracles and extremely accurate prophecies, like never before.

โ€ข God wants us to really know what era we are in and stop looking back at the old moves of God. It's not in the First Reformation, nor the 1000-year Dark Age, nor the Second Reformation of the Church. We are in the Third Reformation where the finalizing of all things will take place. We have to catch up our theology to fit into the time of the Lord and be “established in the present truth” or we will not fulfill our role in this season (2 Peter 1:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6; Ephesians 1:10).

โ€ข From now on, prophets who go to the nations will not just prophecy information but release a word that causes nations to become either sheep nations or goat nations, depending on their response. This is in preparation for Jesus, the Mighty Man of War, to come back and judge the nations according to Matthew 25:31 and Revelation 21:24.

โ€ข This year we have won a victory, so like David after Ziklag, we are receiving the same word of the Lord that David then received. In other words, this is the action we, the Church, are to take against our spiritual enemyโ€”ATTACK, TAKE BACK, AND RECOVER ALL (1 Samuel 30:8; 17-20)!

โ€ข We are in “Level 3” of overcoming. We have been overcoming by (1) the Blood of the Lamb, (2) the word of our testimony, and now we must (3) love not our lives unto death. That means complete death to self, life in the spirit, and conformity to the character of Christ (Revelation 12:11; Galatians 2:20; 2 Corinthians 4:10-11).

โ€ข In 2019, we have already entered the second wave of the prophetic, which means we are commanded to prophesy again until resurrection life is activated. Don't wait. Prophesy to the issue you already heard the Lord on, and see yourself rise up along with the global Church as an exceeding great army (Ezekiel 37:10).

โ€ข In 2019, the Holy Spirit is beginning an intensified work to purify and perfect us to Christ's likeness and maturity. The final and most important thing to know is this: God's highest calling and purpose for every saint and minister is for them to be conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ. This is why it is intense. Our responsibility is to choose to be conformed.

Tim Hamon Prophesies A New Level of Prophetic Partnership

Tim Hamon Prophesies A New Level of Prophetic Partnership

Welcome to Christian Internationalโ€™s Word of the Lord for 2019. We first began declaring an annual Word of the Lord in 1988. At that time, it was only Bishop Bill Hamon giving the word. Since then, we have continued the annual Word of the Lord and have included more and more prophetic voices. Of course, we donโ€™t mean that these words are only for January 1 through December 31. Rather it is a time when we seek the Lord for insight into the coming days.

My word from the Lord for 2019 builds from the word I got for 2018. In 2018, the word I received came from Ezekiel 37 about the Valley of Dry Bones. The main point was that our past prophetic understanding had to be spoken to again even after it appeared to fail. We must speak (naba) to those revelations (ruach) that we have received, so that they are renewed and so a second wind may infuse them to raise the Army of the Lord.

This year I felt Lord speak to me about a new level of partnership with him in this โ€œsecond wind of the prophetic.โ€ We know that according to Jewish tradition, Jesus undoubtedly received a Jewish education, perhaps along these lines: “At 5 years of age” He would be “ready for the study of the written Torah, at 10 years of age for the study of the Oral Torah, … at 20 for pursuing a vocation, at 30 for entering one's full vigor.โ€ [1]

Jesus did just that, entering His ministry at about 30 years of age . Also, at 30 a Jewish father might publicly declare his son to be the inheritor of all that he had or an adopted son in his place. The voice that spoke out of heaven at Jesus' baptism (Luke 3.22) was God declaring Jesus to be His true son and inheritor.[2]

Just as Jesus became a full partner in His fatherโ€™s business at age 30, so I feel God the Father is asking us to become full partners in His prophetic move that is now 30 years old. (At CI, we mark the beginning of the modern prophetic movement from October 1988.)

I sense that 2019 will be a year of greater authority, greater opportunity and greater impact through the voice of God in the church and in the culture to see transformation. This is the year when we will achieve a significant inheritance of what the Father has for us through the power of His voice.

Ana Werner: 2019 is the Year of Illumination

I have sat now with this word for a while, carefully praying
through what I sense the Lord share with me that is coming to us all for the
year of 2019. Know that every prophetic word I release, I bring before other
prophetic voices I trust, respect and who bear good fruit.

Recently, I was brought up into the throne room of God. I saw
before me the most beautiful, exquisite bride. She was wearing her wedding
gown, all dressed up for her special day. I could sense the anticipation and
joy in the air.

What captivated my attention the most out of this encounter, was
the bride's gown. Light radiated from within it, spreading out into the room.
The beams of light seemed to brighten the entire room and were difficult to
look at directly.
