Is There An Orphan Within?

For many individuals it is something that we don't want to acknowledge, but there is a reality in which many people struggle, both in the Body of Christ as well as in the world, and that struggle is rooted in an Orphan Spirit. By “orphan”, I am referring to a struggle...
Changing of the Guard: The Convergence of Prophecy and Evangelism

Changing of the Guard: The Convergence of Prophecy and Evangelism

We are postured at yet another major crossroads in the body of Christ, which includes a strategic “Changing of the Guard.” In the last five years, we have had five major seer prophets all ascend to their heavenly reward. On February 14, 2014, the heavenly minded seer prophet Bob Jones passed into Glory. The following year in the exact same timeframe, the seer prophet John Paul Jackson suddenly departed from this world. In the next two years, we had yet two more very anointed seer prophets graduate from this world to their true eternal one: Kim Clement and John Sandford. Just a few days ago on February 12th, 2019, the boy prophet who became an elderly seer, Paul Cain, also shed his earthly tabernacle and ascended on high.I attended the memorial services for all three of these former Kansas City Prophets: Bob Jones, John Paul Jackson and Paul Cain. As I pondered and reflected upon their home goings, I became aware of some intriguing and profound details. Bob Jones was lowered into the earth on 2/22/2014 in Moravian Falls, the day after his Memorial Service on 2/21. John Paul Jackson was also buried as a seed into the ground on 2/22/2015. John Paul’s burial was exactly one year after our mutual friend, Bob Jones. Paul Cain departed on 2/12/2019, the anniversary date of the Beginning of the Latter Rain Movement. But not only that, Paul Cain was another seer seed lowered into the earth on 2/22/2019. That is exactly five years to the date of the burial of Bob Jones. You cannot make up this timeline!

Accurately Discerning God's Timing

Accurately Discerning God's Timing

Everything that God does is in season and timings. He has a time that is His time for what He will release upon the earth. When we are called to move or to act, we cannot be too slow because we will miss the perfect timing of God nor can we be too fast because we will be out of sync with God and His time. Sometimes it is hard to know what God's timing is. It is not always easy to discern what is going on and understand the timing of God. We may often question ourselves and what we see and or hear. We hesitate, take extra time to pray, making sure we are acting in sync with God. Know that in His wisdom God allows for us to take extra time to make sure we are moving is His perfect timing.

Understanding The Father Heart of God

Understanding The Father Heart of God

Most of our understanding of Father God comes from our experiences with our earthly fathers. If we had a kind, loving earthly father, we tend to see our heavenly Father the same. But if our earthly father was distant, unkind, or absent, we have a harder time seeing how God loves us. When our church ministers to people who struggled with their dads, we ask them to ask the Father what He thinks of them. The answers range from “ashamed” to “unworthy” to “He can’t see me.” These are lies planted by the enemy so God’s people will stay in bondage. How can you be free to see God as a good Father?Forgive your earthly father. Be specific. Ask the Lord to bring to mind any incidents that would cause you to harbor unforgiveness in your heart. Forgiveness sets us free, it doesn’t excuse behavior. Ask God to deal with the pain of the past, to reveal His truth to your heart and mind, and to help you to forgive.  “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Eph 4:32)

I have never endured such an attack on my mind and body at the same time in my entire life.In the midst of the attack, the Lord told me a major shift was coming. I imagine the enemy saw the markers of a shift—a kairos moment—in the spirit and was resisting it.

10 Signs of Prophetic Abuse and/or Manipulation

10 Signs of Prophetic Abuse and/or Manipulation

I have found the prophetic gift, including inspirational preaching, teaching, and prophetic words, to be the most edifying of all the gifts — as St Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14. However, with every true gift of God comes either a counterfeit and or an abuse. You can say that about all of the cluster gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4:11. The prophetic gift can especially be very dangerous if left un-checked, since people think the words spoken are directly from God and will often obey them without question or the use of discernment. Based on all my years of studying and observing many facets of prophetic ministry, the following are ten signs of prophetic abuse and manipulation.I write this to serve as a guide to increase the level of discernment and true edification in the body of Christ. All sincere Christ followers should welcome these warning signs. If they are truly endeavoring to serve the Lord, they will welcome correction and or desire more discernment in the Church.
