While such rumors are heating up–and prophetic people have had dreams about a Michelle Obama ticket–this rumor seems even more realistic after the explosive special counsel Robert Hur issued a report raising new fears around President Biden’s memory.
Specifically, Hur called Biden “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Even “Real Time” host Bill Maher suggested it's not too late for Democrats to dump Biden at the DNC convention this summer following the explosive special counsel report. But that’s just one voice.
Republican strategist Karl Rove has shut down speculation that former first lady Michelle Obama will replace President Biden in the 2024 election, calling it “pure lunacy.”
Obama, 60, recently took home her second Grammy for best audio book, narration, and storytelling recording at this year’s pre-telecast ceremony for doing the voiceover on her latest book, The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times.
But does she have presidential aspirations?
We don’t know for sure but she is on record with Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast that she’s terrified at the potential outcome of the 2024 election. She has also stopped short of endorsing Biden in the next election in an ABC interview.
“You know, I, I – I will have to see,” Obama said when asked if she hoped Biden would run again during an an ABC News special that aired Sunday.
New York Post columnist Cindy Adams has written in an article that former First Lady Michelle Obama may be looking to step into the 2024 presidential race.
Adams wrote, “Obama’s quietly angling for Joe to go. He’s weaseled up to this for a few weeks. Mouths aren’t talking. But mouths are knowing.” She added, “The Obamas are now nudging to force SloMo Joe to go. Drop out. It’s like who else is there?”
Texas Sen Ted Cruz has predicted there is a very real chance the Democrats will jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama, and that they’d do it at the convention this summer. The chances of that are rising every day, he said.
And Sara Palin has also suggested Obama would replace Biden on the ticket. Some speculate California Govenor Gavin Newsom might emerge as her VP.
Obama has been asked several times over the past few years if she woud run for president. Each time, she said shot down the idea. But then again, she may be banking on the element of surprise.
Either way, we can see the political arena is heating up. We need to pray.
How do we pray?
Pray against any and all diabolical political manuevers.
Pray the enemy’s plots will be exposed and shut down.
Pray all dishonest strategies would be foiled.
Pray for God’s will to be done.
